PKWY Tavern has got the ick. Dark and dreary vibe, unorganized service, and spotty inventory of their beer list.

Went on Mother’s Day the lady was kinda dry and seemed very uninterested on serving us. Don’t know if it was Mother’s Day or the fact the she was working as a whole.

It's a bar atmosphere, sports playing on lots of TVS. Smoking is allowed so if that bothers you don't go. There is outside seating though the cushions are grubby looking. Our server was a cool guy, very helpful during happy hour. Over all a cool place to hang. The food was good as were the drinks!

TL;DR Staff your floors a bit more with the nice weather. Staff was pretty good but they were busy and training. You can tell they were stressed which caused order mixups. When we arrived, there was no one there to seat us which is fine if there was any indication on what to do instead of standing there for a bit waiting for someone to pass by. We finally flag someone down and get seated. We had two servers, one trainee and one trainer, they were pretty friendly, joking around with us. We then get a round of drinks and our food and that’s all dandy. Food was pretty good, drinks were alright. Then we get another round of drinks. Same drinks (2 rum and ginger-ale’s) and it was rum and Pepsi. So we flagged down the server (the trainer) and tell her what happened and she then tells us we ordered rum and Pepsi both times and we show her the nearly empty glass of our previous drink and say “no, you brought us rum and ginger before, it’s pretty clear” and then she tells us “well you can’t tell when the drink is almost done” and we are flabbergasted because...yes you can? Pepsi is dark, ginger ale is...not. Anyhow, she brings us the next round correctly and 10/20 mins goes by when the two come back and say they need to close out and the next server will help us. So we close out with her but stay a bit because, date night. And we still see the trainer running around, helping customers long after she said she is leaving. I get it, things happen and you gotta deal. We just stayed outside for a bit getting drinks from the bar. No one was ever rude or flippant in anyway so we had the patience for all of it. But wow the staff feels like they are running themselves into the ground.

I was initially seated at a deuce by the door. Too windy and no volume on the TVs. The manager “Becca” responded to my seating complaint by saying , if you remove your negative comments/reviews on Open-Table , I’ll move you to a better table ! I looked at my comments and noticed , NOTHING has changed there. Every seat , wooden and metal , have NO cushion on the seat ! I had brought my own seat cushion and used it that same night a as I have been there before ! Sooooo if the owner reads this post , buy some comfortable seats for patrons watching sporting events ! Until then .... thank you Becca , I’M NEVER COMING BACK TO PARKWAY TAVERN at Tivoli Village !
