We really enjoyed our dinner here. The staff were friendly, the food was great and well priced. It was a little loud due to a couple of noisier tables, but it kind of went with the easy going pub nature and we enjoyed the atmosphere.

Beautiful styled pub, clean and tidy, very inviting and picturesque, great location, meal was delicious, very busy but food still was on our table within 15 minutes of ordering. Only minor problem was lighting was very dull and very noisy but that’s what happens when it’s a busy popular place. Would 100% visit there again! Was sensational overall!

To make it easier for staff you should have a order app on the tables so there is no line up and hard to get pass the line up. and have more smaller meals and deals.

Great venue, friendly hard working staff and great food. It doesn't seem to be much of an Irish Pub anymore but it's still great.

A great time! Fantastic and affordable food, friendly staff, good drinks, and a great environment. It's situated in such a great area, it was really easy to explore the city on foot after dining here! Would DEFINITELY recommend!!

Arrived early (4.30pm) for a few after work Friday drinks. Visiting from Melbourne and catching up with old friends. Sat outside to enjoy the country capital fresh air. First batch of bar snacks before the kitchen opened properly came out super quick. Happy hour schooners of Capital Brewing ale were great value. Even as the night progressed and the crowds grew it was energetic enough know people were out for a good time, and food service was still way faster than a lot of Melbourne pubs. Inoffensive crowd, great service and overall good value for money. Will visit again when we are in town.

The table we booked wasn’t available when we arrived (we were in time). No service, we had to line up at the bar and when we did finally get served we were told that our booking was a double booking and that there was no more tables.

Overpriced for the quality and quantity of food given. Very poor offerings. Chips cold which means it was sitting their awhile before final plating. For a pub it is very small servings. you just expect a large schnitzel or awesome chips etc at a pub. Nothing like that. They forgot an order so one person left watching others eat. Hated it.

Lovely venue, staff were very friendly and accommodating. There was singer/guitarist that appeared who was very talented. The only thing was that the general noise levels and acoustics in the area were quite loud to the point that you had to shout to talk in conversation with friends, but this is the case generally in any bar and can’t be helped I guess. Thank you PJ’s.

Food was horrible! Cold and poorly prepared. Spaghetti marinara was too spicy to eat. Music was overly loud, unable to have conversation. Table had sticker for reservation but someone was sitting there, staff was too busy to help.

We went onto the PJs website and booked a table over two hours before our reservation. When we arrived we were told that any reservations made after a certain time aren't able to be actually get a table and we would have to wait behind all the walkins who had gathered.... We also went a few nights prior, rushed to try to make it before the kitchen closed, stood in line for close to 10 minutes while staff were making conversation with the patrons they were serving, then were told the kitchen closed "5min ago". This interaction I kind of sympathise, as it was regulation, but I honestly was standing behind the 3 other people there with a giant laminated menu in my hand for the last 10 minutes, I think it was pretty apparent what my intentions may have been.

Don’t order the burger as you’ll get 60g of steak thrown on top rather then the initial 150g advertised and when we questioned it with the staff we were treated very rudely. I didn’t know they opened a Karen’s diner in Canberra but if you want that experience of rude staff you should go here
