From Umbria to the homes of Carefree, Pizzicata brings our family’s recipes and an enthusiasm rooted in sharing Italiano cuisine with Arizona and the world.
We are proud to be the first pinseria in Arizona.

What is Pinsa?
Long before the days of pizza, Pinsa was introduced and crafted by the Romans using wheat, soy and rice flours as the main ingredients in the dough. The resulting Pinsa contained less gluten, less carbs and less fat while maintaining a crispy yet light crust when baked therefore making it more digestible yet still delizioso.

Sat immediately because we had a reservation. Server was quick, friendly, and knowledgeable. Food was amazing and the drinks hit the spot. We sat inside but the courtyard was very pretty and had we not made reservations we would have gladly sat outside. Excellent hostess, excellent server, excellent food.

First time here & our server Noah was amazing! We can a little later towards closing, but he still treated us with great service and conversation! We will definitely be back soon.

Waitress completely ignored us …. Had to ask for small plates twice …. Had to ask for another glass of wine … had to ask for the check Food was good next time we will eat at the bar

Food was delicious as always and service was great, especially on a busy Mother’s Day evening. The lower patio was full with everyone happily talking and laughing and enjoying their meal. They had a musician to make the evening special but with him singing and and everyone engaged in conversation, it became unusually noisy and hard to hear each other. We have vegans in our family and totally appreciate the fact that Pizzicata offers vegan options and vegan cheese. Pizzicata is our ‘go to’ restaurant!
