Loud loud loud. We should have been apprised of upstairs tables. Pizzas mixed. Two thought their pizzas ok one did not. Wet. We practically had to tackle waitperson to get service.

Was a great dinner option, an excellent selection and the food really hit the spot. It is a little on the pricy side, but you know you are paying for a good quality dinner experience.

Highly recommend! We had a fabulous meal here before heading to the Festival Theatre, just across the road. Great atmosphere, prompt, polite service, and the pizza was outstanding! Best I've ever had, outside of Italy! There was a happy buzz and the prices were good. Took one star off as we felt slightly rushed to leave, though, to be fair, they were extremely busy. I will definitely go back. Easy 15 minute walk from Waverley Station.

We loved the food and service. The music was a too loud and we ended up shouting at each other other. It was turned down a little but went back up again.

Really great pizza! A good choice of options but you could make your own as needed. The cheesy chilli chips were outstanding, if a bit spicy! Lovely dips too. Service was efficient and attentive too. A nice ambience as well, a good buzz about the place especially through the large back area of the restaurant.

The service is good in here, the guy who manages the restaurant is extremely efficient. The pizzas were so tasty and cocktails were 10/10. Would definitely return.

Very busy because of Hamilton being on at the Festival Theatre across the road. But staff were very attentive. Pizza was good - took a little longer to be served than would be ideal but no doubt that was because it was so busy. Authentic pizza, Italian staff, and the owner or the maitre de was very appreciative of our custom. Very convenient for attending Hamilton, which we were; and enjoyed a nice pint of Italian beer.

This is the third time that my wife and I have visited Pizza Posto and it was as good as ever. We enjoyed cocktails to start followed by a pizza each and an ice cream dessert. Everything was great quality and the service was good especially as the restaurant was very busy. It's just a shame that we live 185 miles away in Preston.

Delicious food, good quality ingredients and friendly and welcoming staff. My family and I cannot fault our visit and will most definitely return the next time we are in Edinburgh.

Very friendly staff although felt a little rushed as we were asked a few times to order before we had a chance to read the menu. Probably due to the pre-theatre rush. Lovely decor and busy atmosphere.

Absolutely fabulous pizza restaurant with wonderful staff and amazing pizzas. We booked to go for pre-theatre dinner and it couldn’t have been closer, literally across the road! The restaurant is much bigger than it appears from the outside and has gorgeous contemporary appearance. The food was outstanding, all of our pizzas were amazing with fresh ingredients and true Italian style food. Really lovely attentive staff too, a perfect place to go!

Fabulous visit! First time for us before going to see Hamilton at festival theatre just over the road. Service was excellent. Mum has a wheelchair and they were absolutely delightful and so helpful. Fabulous pizzas just wonderful.

Wonderful service, crazy handy for the theatre. Great pizza and lots of lovely staff who made us feel very relaxed, despite being a table of 9. Thanks! Will be back!

Noi che siamo napoletani e quindi amanti della buona pizza, ci siamo trovati a casa nostra... Pizza con impasto digeribile, fatta con prodotti TOP. Consigliato assolutamente a che viene a fare una vacanza ad Edimburgo. Staff e proprietario TOP 👌

The food was pretty good, menu had a wide range of pizza options/toppings. Management was very unkind and unhelpful. We had a reservation, and there was no time limit on the table. However, we were rushed to order drinks, and were told to hurry to order food. Appetizers came out with the meal. I understand when it is busy it is important to turn over tables, however, it created a very uncomfortable ambiance. Waitstaff and bar staff seemed to be treated poorly by management as well, even though they were the most helpful and attentive. Overall, would not return due to poor service and treatment to staff

Food was fine. Nothing amazing but fine. Service was attentive to the point of harassing us to finish and leave. Constantly asked if we were finished eating and plates and glasses removed before final mouthfuls even swallowed! After 55 minutes at the table (booking stated 90) we were told ‘we need the table back’. We were still finishing drinks and didn’t leave however we found this incredibly rude. They obviously overbook but this isn’t the customers problem. We won’t be back
