Food was surprisingly tasty! Atmosphere is a little sterile which took away from enjoying the food. Chairs (metal barstools) and seating in general, not comfortable in my opinion. If they worked to make the space warmer, it would help the overall experience a lot!

Really enjoyed an early evening of pinxtos and sherry here. We were welcomed in and treated like guests in their home. Very warm and inviting and the food was really delicious!

An absolutely wonderful experience in every possible way! The service was attentive, informative and downright charming. The menu was incredible and had a sense of place while delivering incredible flavors and textures that led melded beautifully between plates. Wish I could give it 6 stars.

A charming and delightful Basque tapas restaurant in Los Gatos with plenty of parking and a well prepared assortment of tapas and Spanish tortillas. The owners are very friendly and helpful and their wine and beer list has a nice list of very drinkable wines and other libations. It’s also reasonably priced given the care taken in the kitchen. Try it and you won’t be disappointed.

Hector, Angie, and Juan Carlos made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. We were dining with friends. The four of us enjoyed a terrific selection of tapas. Appetizers split nicely for two, other dishes offered a nice tasting for all four of us. The dishes were thoughtfully prepared, with high quality ingredients showcasing the flavors of the Basque region of Northern Spain.

Came here about seven years ago and never went back. Friends and I dined here for a girl’s night, but this time, it was me and the hubby. He was so proud of himself bc he found this place himself; usually I do all the research and make all the reservations, but not this time. We arrived at 6:45pm and this place was almost fully packed. We tried to ask if we could switch to the bar, but it was already filled for the night. Angie initially took our order and helped us with the menu (she is soooo thorough with her descriptions of each item). As it got busy, Hector also helped serve our table; both were awesome. We had some ideas of what to order, but Angie’s descriptions of everything was soooo good we just kinda let her pick most of our stuff. EVERYTHING we ordered was delicious. Note that this is Spanish tapas, so portions are small and meant to be shared and eaten in one or two bites. I did remember that when we first came some years ago, service was slow, and although it was not as bad this time, they can benefit from another server. The manager came by later to thank us for coming in and explained that they had not been this busy since the pandemic. I’m glad to hear they are doing better, and well. Some side notes: Corkage is $25 although they have an extensive list of offerings. Parking is easy; there is a stand-alone lot. Will definitely come back. This is as close as it gets to SPAIN!

We had the most incredible food and the best service. The chef and our waitress knew their wine and food VERY well and took care to give us details about each. We LOVED the experience :)

Phenomenal. Personal, attentive service by the owners and the food was amazing. We only tried a small subset of the extensive pintxo menu and it was all very high quality ingredients and perfectly executed. We will be back. And yes those are really geodes on the wall.

Exceptional experience. Hector and Angela go above and beyond to make you feel welcome at the restaurant. And for a night you feel transported to the Basque Region with beautiful aromas and produce. Thank you for always being to welcoming and feeding us like kings!

It is so much fun to eat here and try a plethora of different dishes without breaking the bank on any one of them. Who knew an egg and potato dish could make you eyes water with pleasure? They have the best selection of Rioja wines. It’s also great to know that your server is the owner, and when things are really busy, he’s back helping with the cooking too! One of our very favorite spots in Los Gatos and the South Bay.

Second time here and things are still excellent! Very attentive service, not overbearing. Kind, happy folks here. Seemed glad to see us. We had a relaxing meal with very unique, well-orchestrated ingredients. Everything was delicious!

If you've recently taken a trip to Spain, had pintxo's and are longing to 'go back'' for the food...go to PintxoPote. If you want a laid back atmosphere, enjoying a glass of wine or two, while enjoying a wonderful meal....go to PinxtoPote. Hector and Angie (and the guys) are very attentive and as Hector will tell you, the inspiration of the restaurant are the happy hour bars in Spain and they've done an amazing job at with creating that atmosphere. We are there 2-3x a month and recommended it to all....who want something approachable, relaxing and satisfying. And IYKYK, but you won't find paella on the menu.

PintxoPote is an amazing experience with authentic Spanish food! The staff provided excellent recommendations and described each dish when it was served. Our server was personable, knowledgeable and helped make our dinner a fun experience. My favorites were the huevo gamba (shrimp & quail egg)and pulpo a la plancha (octopus).

Always great to be back. It’s one of our favorite places to go out, and easily the most nourishing for the soul. We came on a busy night, but we never mind the wait: we don’t just come there to eat, but, to be. Sip wine, watch people, have a conversation with each other, think your thoughts, enjoy life’s slow moments. We know that here, everything is worth waiting for.

PintxoPote is a cozy restaurant tucked in an unassuming strip mall. Husband and wife team manages the front of the house, the drinks, the food and everything in between. Passionate and friendly couple on the culture, experience and food that they bring you. Don’t be in a rush when you come, as the food is prepared to order. The food is small plates style. We had a variety of dishes and everything was delicious and fresh! The octopus, the olive oil, the grilled shrimp, the LAMB!!!! You won’t be disappointed!

My wife and I dined at PintxoPote on August 16, 2023 along with another couple. The restaurant is tucked away in a strip mall but don't let that fool you. The server was very attentive and informative and took her time thoroughly explaining the menu options, which were 100% focused on Spanish cuisine (tapas). She also was very helpful in explaining the wine options which again were 100% focused on Spanish wine. The food itself was very authentic and tasty. Very focused on "bites" vs. large individual portions. We had a handful of different tapas each of which were very tasty. We also had the lamb as our primary dinner option although this too was a shared plate. It was excellent. The wine also was very good - we shared a bottle of both white and red wine recommended by the server. Very good and fairly priced. Overall, we really enjoyed our experience and we'll definitely be back!

Wonderful space where you can experience authentic food from Basque Country. The chef greeted us at the table and walked us through every item on the menu, and since we showed that we were curious, he told us lots of stories and information about each item. Such a fun experience, getting to learn and connect with another culture through enjoying their delicious food! It's a tiny place where you will be welcomed warmly and enjoy many tasty things. :)

Another fabulous night at PintxoPote! Love this restaurant for all of our special occasions or for a fun night out eating delicious food! We've sat at the bar three times now and enjoy being able to chat with the owners and other diners. Our faves are always the albondigas (usually order additional plates), prawns, tortilla, cani cabra, and the last couple of visits the carrots! This time we had the gazpacho and it was perfectly chilled for the hot evening. The wines and rose's have also all been winners! Looking forward to celebrating our anniversary here next!

What a wonderful l and interesting experience! A tour of pintxos (small plates) from Basque Spain. The rack of lamb was the crowning culmination of a wonderful meal.

This is a place that is small, intimate, and has lots of options. Vegetarians may have to be patient. The wine selection is very good and reasonably priced. Overall great experience and good value. I like that there was only one dessert on the menu! but look hard to locate this restaurant - it is hidden in a strip mall.
