The food and drinks were delicious. I specially enjoyed the lobster enchiladas.

The place was not busy on Saturday afternoon and that should've been our first sign. The inside was also very warm so we decided to sit outside. Service was awful, we got seated fairly quickly but after 30 minutes of sitting and no one coming to our table I had to go up to the hostess to ask for a waitress. A waitress did not come for another 10 minutes where we gave her our entire order and asked for water. Our water did not come to our table until an hour after we had sat down. My friend and I wanted to try the brunch but we eventually just decided to go somewhere else and closed out our tab as we did not get anything, not even the chips and salsa.

This large location, across from our office location, sits largely empty during lunchtime weekdays. We normally go to El Bebe nearby when looking for Mexican options, but heard the food quality had improved. Sadly I hadn't. Main points: - nice ambience inside, however we sat outside where it's extraordinarily noisy from M St. SE's traffic. Outdoor seating was dirty and austere - half of the Appet dishes were visibly unclean; half the replacement dishes the server provided were also quite unclean and had leftover food on them - although there were several waitstaff in the empty rest inside, their bartender was assigned our table. She was fine but clearly was performing double-duty. - Lunch food was very average - particularly considering our bill was $320 for the 8 of us ($40 each, 2 apps, 8 entrees, no alc...). Server tip was automatically added to the bill. - Queso dip was basically melted hard cheese and with some chorizo. It quickly re-hardened after it cooled and couldn't take a chip without breaking. Sorry Pink Taco: we see why you're chronically empty and will be closing this location soon. Back to El Bebe: better food at a more reasonable price.

We weren’t greeted at all upon arrival. After being seated, we waited 10 mins to be brought water, but no glasses. When we asked about a kids menu, we were told a stiff NO, and that we could choose a quesadilla ($17) or a taco salad or something. The place was incredibly overpriced - talking prices you’d pay at an upscale restaurant in a hotel downtown. Margaritas are $16+, meals are $15 and up for simple dishes. A side of rice is $5. Which wouldn’t have been so shocking if it weren’t for the lack of service. On top of that they were going to charge a 20% auto gratuity for parties of 6 or more (we had 4 adults and 2 kids) Ultimately, after waiting 30 mins to be asked what we wanted (still with no water glasses) we decided to bail and go to Blue Jacket around the corner. Where we paid similar prices for absolutely stellar service. Not sure what Pink Taco thinks it is, but it isn’t an upscale tequila joint. I’m happy to pay extortionate prices in this economy but at least give us a water glass.

When arrive we weren't greeted nor was my mother served when she was waiting at the bar.. ended up leaving before we were seated

Pink Taco Does Mother's Day Right! We had a fantastic Mother's Day dinner at Pink Taco! The food was amazing - I had a delicious fruit bowl with agave nectar for sweetness, a flavorful chicken burrito, and a perfectly blended mezcal mule. Everything was beautifully presented, too. Our server, Frenk, was courteous and attentive, which made the whole experience even better. Highly recommend Pink Taco for a fun and flavorful Mexican meal with great service!

I understand that’s a booming business can be very overwhelming at times but it’s shouldn’t be shown on employees faces nor should the customers also feel the negative energy

The location was great and ambiance inside was beautiful. I wasn’t too impressed with service. I had a reservation and still had to wait 15 minutes. Also they were unorganized and seemed frustrated. Our waiter wasn’t mean but just wasn’t friendly. Never brought us utensils. The food was okay. Nothing to brag about nor a reason why I’d go back. It was an experience to say I’ve been but I won’t be back. There was nothing special about this place.
