Pinion opened in 2018 on Eccleston Street in Prescot Town Centre. Stop by after shopping or join us for some pre theatre evening dining - we're just a minute walk from the brand new Shakespeare North Playhouse.

Part of Elite Bistros from Gary Usher and the team behind Sticky Walnut, Burnt Truffle, Hispi, Wreckfish & Kala. We look forward to welcoming you soon.

Although the menu wasn’t large the quality of food was exceptional. The service was quick, efficient and friendly. We would definitely go again

Was really looking forward to a birthday celebration meal. Sad it say we were disappointed. Food wasn’t very hot, the beef was fatty and the choice of boiled tomatoes on top of the beef was very odd. Truffle chips were beautiful and dessert okay. Annoyingly a 10% tip had been added to the bill, was not worth a £11 tip. Not sure what’s happened to the menu but it needs a rethink.

Normally I love Pinion for its innovative menu. However this last visit I was disappointed to be given a menu full of burgers, a few specials such as Scouse Pie (which had run out), fish and chips and bang bang cauliflower and very little else I’ve come to expect from Pinion. This is the kind of food I’d go to a local Marstons or Greene King pub for. That being said, the chicken burger I did order was delicious but it did in no way compensate for the lack of choice from a menu lacking in the normally high standard of innovative food choices I have come to expect. I did love the Shakespearean themed burger names though! 😊

Pre theatre meal,good food served promptly. Check your bill &ensure your card reader reflects your bill.Second visit and have had to query bill both times.Rectified on both occasions but put a dampener on our evening.We won't return .

We booked the restaurant just a few days before our visit. The menu published on its website looked to be mid-range bistro fare, which was what we wanted for a pre-theatre meal (and what we expect from Elite Group restaurants). When we arrived a new menu had been launched and changed to standard "pub grub", which was not what we wanted but it was too late to seek an alternative restaurant. The standard of the food was merely average at best (one dish was below average), again not what we expect from Elite Group. But our waiter waas really excellent and the coffee was good.

The service was excellent as usual and we were warmly welcomed, questions answered, new menu explained with good knowledge of dishes. The new menu was a different style to the usual one but the food was excellent and we were relieved to find that the creme brulee was still on the menu! A great evening out, thank you

Enjoyed a very pleasant pre theatre meal with excellent service. Paying for it became a significant issue as the card machine failed and I was asked to pay in cash, so had to dash to an ATM. This made me late for the theatre performance! We'll remember Pinion for the wrong reasons.

This restaurant part of elite bistro's isa pure diamond. The food is top class and service impeccable. The FOH James pays 100%attention to detail, works the floor all night to give everyone the best ezlxperience to suit them. He's full of fun but a total professional and he makes the visit the best. Love Pinion long may it stay and what's exciting now is the longer opening hours start with the warmer season approaching... can't wait to try your breakfast. 5 Star evening loved it.

Sadly, the usual problem - attractive menu and drinks list, attentive service, then the food arrives and it starts to go downhill. I beggars belief that they let themselves down by continuing to serve decent but lukewarm food. Seriously folks, how hard is it to supply a hot roast beef meal. Apart from the chefs getting their act together, it might not be a bad idea to simply use hot plates - now there’s a thought.

Tasty cocktails, delicious and beautifully cooked food made for a wonderful meal at Pinion. An amazing menu combined with excellent service and ambience makes us feel very lucky to have Pinion only a short walk away. Keep up the good work!

Spent a lovely Easter Sunday at one of my favourite places for lunch Pinion in Prescot I opted for the Beetroot salad as a starter, my hubby had fish cakes and our friend also had Beetroot salad, didn’t get a chance to take a picture of his fish cakes as he couldn’t wait to tuck in. We all followed with the Roast beef and Yorkshire puddings Sunday lunch which I have to say tasted amazing as usual plus is still one of my favourite Sunday lunches ever. We decided to skip deserts as not only were we all feeling pretty full, but there was an Easter egg waiting for me at home plus the Liverpool match was about to kick off so they both were wanting to rush home to watch it. Would highly recommend Pinion to anyone who hasn’t been, you definitely won’t be disappointed

Food was delicious, but the portion size of the main course was far too small. It lacked carbs or veg (I had the beetroot tart with salad leaves, companion Coq au Vin). We left still hungry.

The food was very tasty but disappointed with portion size, we had a roast which was very tasty but carrot & swede & cabbage was a tablespoon size portion, also roast beef was sliced very thinly and small portion. We ordered 3 more veg side dishes and 2 gravy to compensate. The sticky toffee dessert was delicious 😋 the staff were very friendly and efficient!!

Absolutely fantastic Sunday lunch. Been a few times and nowhere else matches this. Food is great and the staff are brilliant. James in particular is fabulous. He is so funny but on hand to see if everything is ok. The other staff are lovely as well. Go local! Go Pinion!

Today we visited Pinion Bistro in Prescot Town centre for Sunday lunch. Pinion is based on Eccleston street Prescot with lovely view of one of the oldest Tudor style building still standing in Prescot town centre. The Food at Pinion is outstanding quality and I have to say this was one of the nicest Sunday lunches I’ve had in a long time. Both me and my partner opted for the two courses for £30 but there was an option for 3 course for £35 too. I opted for the Roast beef followed by the chocolate oblivion while my partner had the fish & chips followed by Honeycomb ice cream. Both courses we found delicious My partner said it was one of the nicest fish and chips he’s had too. The Staff at pinion are very friendly, extremely attentive and a credit to the owner This was actually our second visit to Pinion in the space of two weeks as we couldn’t wait to come back after last week plus I’m already planning another trip to sample their new spring menu which is out this week.

From the moment we arrived we was greeted with a friendly welcome and great service. The food was amazing as was the Prosecco 🥂 . I would definitely recommend Pinion for an evening out.

The food, from the starter, to main, to the dessert were outstanding. The waiter was also very funny and helpful and made an already great experience even better. Absolute gem for Prescot this place.

Nice restaurant and great food. Little on the expensive side especially the wine list with the cheapest bottle of Pino being £38! Need to do better here Pinion! Makes going out just for ‘tea’ expensive. Bit different if it’s a special occasion so sort this out and we’ll be back. The server is great by the way!

It's a beautiful, excellent quality and value restaurant, which is a gem in Prescot. We had a table of 9 celebrating a retirement. The service,the food ,everything was perfect. Thanks to our head waiter, who was spot on all evening 10/10
