Excellent food and service, delicious wine, lovely lighting super clean. Great spot for an intimate meal or a small group. We were seated inside but there is a back patio available.

The food was exceptional, and the staff was so friendly and lovely. An intimate restaurant that is truly gourmet and a hidden gem!

Magnificent and beyond what we thought was possible. This is one of the best dining experiences we have had in a whole lifetime. The service was gracious and attentive, the food mouthwatering, the ambiance tasteful, the soundtrack KILLER, We will be back many times! Thank you for making our 6th Anniversary so special.

Seafood delicately handled is a good thing. Thoughtfully presented at this price point it's a big win (grilled calamari). Duck ragu tagliatelle was luscious on the tongue. Lamb sirloin was a novel combination of the caprine gaminess I love with the velvety texture of a filet. Intimate setting in a small classic bistro style. We were also fortunate to get a Montepulciano from their cellar that paired nicely with our dinner.

So I loved the pasta dishes and the beet carpaccio. The server did an excellent job with the wine pairing.

I have been wanting to try Piccolo Santa Monica since I noticed its arrival in my neighborhood, but it was a little too pricey for a casual solo drop-in meal. When I noticed a prix fixe Mother's Day menu, it was the perfect opportunity to do something nice for my mother and try the restaurant for myself. We were both perfectly pleased with the experience! The food was delicious and prettily presented (without being pretentious), the quantities were appropriate (neither generous nor minimalist), the service was attentive without being rushed, and our server was delightful: friendly, helpful and very accessible. That is, it was easy to talk to her, ask her questions about the menu, ask for assistance or extras, and she was always responsive. Now that I have tried it, I will definitely come again, knowing that the experience will be worth the price.

The food is outstanding. The homemade pastas are out of this world. Everything we had was 💯, including fig and potato tortelli, branzino, and bruschetta.
