Piccolo Buco Roma - set mere steps from Rome's famed Trevi Fountain - is where Cooper's Hawk Founder, Tim McEnery, first discovered Chef Luca Issa and his wonderful pizza. The ingredients were deceptively simple: creamy, indulgent mozzarella mingled with a bright and bold tomato sauce. But it was the extraordinary, tall crust - crisp on the outside yet cloud-like at the center - that won his heart. He couldn't wait to introduce America to a pizza this special!

We go to Piccolo Buco often. The food is always excellent. While my wife and I both go for the pizzas, I have also had some of their pasta dishes and those are excellent as well. We both always enjoy our evenings there. A special shout out to our server, Logan, who really makes the evenings even more fun. He has been our guy for a number of our visits. He is always attentive, prompt, and has an outstanding personality. It is nice when you go and you have positive engagement with your server, and Logan provides that. We look forward to our next evening at Piccolo Buco.

We frequent this restaurant often. The food is usually delicious. We tried the Pappardelle this time and it was very salty. The rest of our food choices were amazing as always. The service tends to be slow each time we go. This time took 15 mins for us to be greeted and another 20 to get our drinks.

Great date night spot! Logan, our server, was very welcoming. I would definitely ask for him next time. I recommend pizza & a Ceasar.

We really like this place. The pizza is delicious and so are the pastas. I just have to mention that we have ordered the Salmon twice and it’s been “extremely” salty both times. We have sent it back on both occasions and they do remake it with less salt.

Food was delicious! We ordered the Crispy Stuffed Squash Blossoms for appetizer - light and delicious. My husband had the Cacio E Pepe and I had the 'Nduja Pizza - both were so so good. Tons of flavor, filling but not terribly heavy. Our server was so nice and did a great job. We will definitely be coming back!

I ordered the Pappardelle with Short Rib Bolognese and asked the waiter ahead of time to make sure that it didn’t have the ricotta on it since I’m lactose intolerant. It came back with ricotta on it. Took along time to get it right. Was starving!!! I also asked if it was spicy at all and he said no. I explained I can’t have anything spicy at all due to acid reflux and medication I’m on. When I receive it was spicy. So don’t think we will be going back anytime soon.

All of the food is excellent, especially the arancini appetizer and the pizzas. The pasta dishes are nice but not standout. Amazing Caesar salad. We have observed that the service often seems harried. Our server last night was fun, professional and very helpful with both food and wine. We loved her. But too many tables and too many large parties to keep up. They do seem to have a lot of hosts just standing around. Just offering this observation to management. We will definitely go back for great pizza and “free” (prepaid) wine!

The layout is rough, but the food was great. The main dining space is a bit cramped and the interiors allow too much echo. Overall, still had a good time, but I’d recommend giving more room to breathe at the corner from the kitchen to the bar. It’s a hard space to navigate when leaving.

Mike was great, food was outstanding! We were skeptical at first because the menu seemed limited to vegetarians, it is very pork heavy. After tasting the variety of dishes, we were blown away! We will definitely return.

There were four of us, my food came ten minutes before the other three meals. It was only luke warm when I got it. I wanted to eat with the rest of my family, but by the time my food arrived it was room temperature. I ordered coffee when the rest of the table ordered wine which was before we ordered dinner. It never came so I asked the server a second time for it after I finished my meal. He finally brought it and could see I was a bit upset. He said they were very busy. The coffee was warm at best. Before we left I got a refill that was hot as I expected. The flavor of my meal was very tasty but I would of enjoyed it more if it arrived hot and with the rest of my party

I think the pizza is very good here. The other dishes are mediocre. Service is always slow. They overbook or don’t have enough people. Very loud.

Great food and service at reasonable prices. The tables are close together and it can get noisy in the dining room, but otherwise a lovely meal.
