Piccolo Buco Roma - set mere steps from Rome's famed Trevi Fountain - is where Cooper's Hawk Founder, Tim McEnery, first discovered Chef Luca Issa and his wonderful pizza. The ingredients were deceptively simple: creamy, indulgent mozzarella mingled with a bright and bold tomato sauce. But it was the extraordinary, tall crust - crisp on the outside yet cloud-like at the center - that won his heart. He couldn't wait to introduce America to a pizza this special!

Great food. Good portions sizes. Wonderful seasonal dessert with a pastry shell berries & gelato. We were also happy we could enjoy Cooper's Hawk wine with our meals.

Love this place! Have been here a few times with different people and no one has said a negative thing about it. The food is amazing and the service has been top notch. Would not hesitate to send anyone here for a great meal.

We had an early (11:30) reservation, so the noise level was quieter than when the restaurant began to fill up at noon. Since I was with someone sensitive to loud noises, it was a bit uncomfortable. We've been here several times, so the service and food was as expected--excellent. I had the yellow tomato bisque, which is always a treat because of the melding of flavors: tomato, pesto, EVOO, parmesan. I had planned on the chopped salad, but the pizza was irresistible. My husband had the Mezzi Rigatoni. He usually does't finish a meal, but he did finish this one. Highly recommend.

Love the restaurant and the menu. Unfortunately, tonight the cavatelli was only lukewarm and sending it back to the kitchen Didn’t make it much better. Tried the chopped salad for the first time, and it was fabulous!

I wouldn't say the noise is energetic, it is very loud in there. Our server, Adonus was excellent, the best we have ever had in all of the visits we have had at Piccolo Buco. All of our food was excellent, the Squash Blossoms were crisp and the coating was not too heavy, all of our dishes were hot and tasted as we expected! Our server kept us informed on the status of our courses throughout our meal. The Crostada was delicious as always!

My new favorite restaurant. Already love the Cooper’s Hawk restaraunts. The food here is exceptional. The pizza - divine!

Have been here several times. Food has always been delicious! Seated promptly. Table service is a bit slow and noise level can make it difficult to carry a detailed conversation.
