Food was excellent - disappointed they had run out of salt baked sea bass. Only negative was over loud music. Food came very quickly.

The food, service and vibe was terrific and my family of four loved it. Yes the bill was a little on the pricey side but we all thought it was definitely worth it because we had such a great experience. Having eaten at many Piccolino’s, this was our favourite meal so far. Thank you

Amazing food but even better service. The staff made our parents meal extra special by giving them loads of positive attention and ensuring that they were well looked after throughout. One of the best meals out we’ve had as a family

A fantastic party meal at Piccolinos in Wilmslow. Very easy to arrange, great food pre order system and professional staff brought the whole night together through their fantastic organisational skills. Food and drink was good value, atmosphere and service was great. A party to remember, can’t recommend this place too highly.

Rather disappointing. Ended up with my third choice Entree. Friday night but no lobster, no sea bream so had to have cod which was very nice but not really what I wanted. Most people seemed to be ordering pizza which is maybe a sign of the times.

Unfortunately I ended up being very unwell after eating here, (I’m vastly underestimating) I contacted the restaurant to let them know and quite frankly was ignored. Much the same as the service - it seems unless you were a regular you were most definitely unimportant . Such a shame as it was my daughter’s birthday and she was really looking forward to a gluten free pizza… even that was a disappointment as it appeared to be just a ready base from the freezer. Disappointing all round.

Overall we had a lovely meal slightly disappointed with the start of the experience but it did improveonce we were sat at our table . The slight downside was we Didn't get the area I requested ( 8 weeks ago) and was kept waiting 25 mins after my booked time for the table . The service was great once we're sat down for dinner but prior to that we were kept waiting by the bar area which was very busy - trying to get to the bar when people were sat on high chair drinking was difficult . After ordering I was told the drinks would brought over to us . After 10 minutes I went back to the bar and carried them myself back to where we are waiting for our table .

Special occasion so chose chateau Briand but unfortunately it arrived only warm & not hot as you would expect. Whilst the staff dealt with our feedback & offered to warn it up ( you can’t warm up steak without over cooking it & drying it out) unfortunately this is the second visit to Wilmslow & another cold main course Disappointing as it’s an expensive & for a soecial occasion

Nice evening but… - staffing appears short with long waiting times. We waited more than 20 minutes for dessert and we did not receive coffee as ordered - the food was nice, however, again, the wait was also long and pasta arrived on the cooler side For the price, we expected - our drinks were empty and no one asked if we wanted more - we did not feel taken care of, which was likely due to overworked staff. At least 1/3 of the restaurant wasn’t in use, therefore we found it weird. Everyone looked rushed and unhappy and lack of leadership from the manager was apparent. - other guests who seemed to be ‚regulars’ received attention and preferred treatment - nice ambience and music but because of all of above we will not be choosing Wilmslow restaurant as the experience in other local branches was way more superior and attentive. Overall did not meet expectations, we are unlikely to come back.

can’t recommend enough. the fabulous food was actually next level. i would go as far as saying the nicest italian food i have ever eaten. the staff were absolutely fantastic. attentive, nothing was too much trouble, they provided 10/10 service. cannot wait to come back.

First visit to Piccolino Wilmslow and we were not disappointed. Service was absolutely incredible and they made our 6 year old nephew so welcome. Nothing was too much trouble and they were very good around his nut allergy too. Food was great. Interior is beautiful. Will absolutely be back.

Overpriced for the quality of food. Drinks more expensive than Cibo and San Carlo.

This was the second time to visit the place. Just as before, everything was rushed and chaotic. I tried to get some help with the booking times over the phone with no success. In the end booked via Opentable (easy, more options, no hustle). From the phone conversation until paying the bill, the attitude was 'we don't care''. There was a fuss why one of us is not ordering a starter and why one of us was not drinking (don't drink and drive, people!). The starters were ok, the mains were nice but my pasta arrived cold and for the first time in this restaurant chain I wasn't offered any parmesan. I had to wait for ages and try at least 5 times to grab someone's attention to order and additional drink. The place itself is nice but the staff was too busy and some of them even looking down on customers. As I mentioned, this was my second time there. The first time there was chaos too and undercooked starters lacking seasoning but at least the staff was nice and polite. This time I decided to give it another chance as I was meeting a friend who is vegan and they have options in the menu. I have to say, the vegan pizza was really good. Overall, I don't recommend at all and wouldn't go again.

We assure you that we endeavor to display the same warm hospitality to all guests whether they are first time visitors or regulars and it is of paramount importance to us to deliver consistently attentive service. We do accept that on the particular weekend evenings you have visited certain mistakes have been made here with the failure to bring parmesan and a longer wait on drinks. We must address the misunderstanding over drinking and driving as this is most certainly something we would never advocate as a team or individually. SO DISAPPOINTED WILL NOT RETURN Our 4th visit to Piccolinos, we took friends as we had enjoyed it so much previously. Apart from the tiramisu, which was excellent, the food was dreadful, the food service indifferent, the bar service slow even though there were only 4 other people in the restaurant at 4pm. Expensive, terrible value for money-go to Cibo instead-food & service always consistent.
