Surrounded by Cheshire countryside but within striking distance of both Warrington and Manchester, Stockton Heath is the perfect Cheshire village. Stockton Heath is home to great pubs, bars, and independent shops. It was also the first village in the UK to be awarded a Purple Flag award to highlight its excellent hospitality standards in bars, pubs and restaurants. So it stands to reason that Stockton Heath is home to one of the area’s best Italian restaurants, Piccolino.
Piccolino, an authentic Italian Restaurant, is a proud fixture of the Stockton Heath dining scene. Located in Victoria Square, Piccolino boasts an open kitchen, cocktail bar and substantial alfresco terrace.
We visit the regions, meet the producers and are committed to sourcing the best quality ingredients. At Piccolino, passion for provenance is at the forefront of our menu, which incorporates the best and freshest seasonal produce, Italian cheeses, meat and seafood, all delivering pure classic Italian flavours.

First visit for quite a few years. Lovely food, great service and fantastic feel to restaurant. We booked another table to go with friends whilst we were there.

There was a mix up with the starter which they rectified. New recipe for Linguine Gamberoni was disappointing. They didn’t have the wine we ordered as it is a new wine and it hadn’t been delivered. Our server was lovely, however there wasn’t enough staff. All the staff appeared to be working under too much pressure. We are regular diners at Piccolino but we’re disappointed on this occasion.

Food and service was absolutely amazing, don’t know why we haven’t tried here before. I’m glad we booked in for 17:30, as it was getting busier with a slightly more ‘rowdy’ crowd as we were leaving (it was a Saturday). On the more expense side, but you don’t mind so much when the food is great. Loved the terrace. Definitely will be back!

I took my Granddaughter for a meal she really enjoyed it in fact wasn’t over faced with the meal that she ate every bit felt very grown up to have a cocktail (Non Alcoholic) thank you for your kindness towards us

We regularly go to Piccolinos in Stockton heath, usually on a weekend evening / lunch time. Staff are brilliant, very attentive and can’t do enough for you. Always a friendly atmosphere and the food and drinks have always been amazing.
