It makes sense that with all that Roman history, Chester is also home to one of the area’s best Italian restaurants, Piccolino!
Piccolino, an authentic Italian Restaurant, is a proud fixture of the Chester dining scene. Located on Pepper Street, Piccolino in Chester boasts an open kitchen, cocktail bar, and wine boutique. Piccolino is also home to Chester’s very first Prosecco bar and alfresco terrace.
We visit the regions, meet the producers and are committed to sourcing the best quality ingredients. At Piccolino, passion for provenance is at the forefront of our menu, which incorporates the best and freshest seasonal produce, Italian cheeses, meat and seafood, all delivering pure classic Italian flavours.

Quite amazing the difference between the Liverpool outlet and Chester. I have never had a disappointing experience at the Chester restaurant. Food is superb, the staff very attentive, helpful and friendly. In addition the ambience is not ruined by allowing posing, intrusive flash photography to ruin other people's dining enjoyment which completely wrecked my last (and will be only) visit to the Liverpool outlet. The Chester team know how to run a restaurant and take care to ensure patrons have an enjoyable and memorable experience.

Service a bit slow and not very attentive. Margarita Pizza was really soggy and not very appetising, my daughter was very disappointed. I have been a couple of times before and both service and food quality were superb. Not the best experience to be honest.

We had the Friday offer & all three of us enjoyed the starters. We all had pasta dishes & two found the dishes a bit oily.However mine was fine for me.My husband had the tiramisu which he said was really good.The drinks were good.Overall a good meal.

As perfect as ever. Fabulous atmosphere, brilliant staff and absolutely delicious food. Can't fault it - though I do wince a tiny bit paying the bill!

Usually I really enjoy this restaurant but my visit was abit disappointing. I had the carbonara which was overcooked and the sauce tasted strange. It took quite a while to be served and to drink is our drinks however the minute we asked for the bill they were back in seconds. I hope the next time I go it will be as good as usual and they were just having a bad day because usually this place is great

I would definitely recommend going here. The food was absolutely delicious with so much flavour. I have to say it was the best carbonara I have ever had. The service was really quick and all the staff were lovely.
