A very special place!! Want to feel like you are in Italy eating local, fresh from the farm and sea restaurant with excellent service, gracious and generous hosts and staff? Last night I took friends there for a birthday celebration, sat in the outdoor shed on 60th St. and we were regaled with exquisite food, generous portions, good cheer and bonus birthday dessert of the best cannoli's outside of Italy. Delicious dishes of prosciutto with burrata, grilled octopus, whole branzino, ceviche, home-made ice cream and sorbet left us fully sated and enormously happy. My friends, native New Yorkers but now living out of town, said this was the best meal they remember having while visiting back in New York ever! And it was.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed Piccola Cucina. She said that the branzino was the best she has ever eaten. Service was attentive and very welcoming. This may well become one of our NYC favorites.

I’ve been to the location on Spring St and loved how authentic it was, but this location lacked the same vibe. The food was good, but not outstanding. The bus service was good, but our waiter was not. He misunderstood our order and never came to check on us. The energy felt a bit chaotic as more people sat down for dinner.

The food at this restaurant is so tasty, a great take on northern Italian food. Service is friendly and efficient, and you can enjoy appetizers, including delicious fish and seafood tuna,tartare, as well as focaccia done very thin like a thin crust pizza, and terrific pasta, and main courses. My favorite restaurants in town.

Sure, here’s a polished version of your review: --- I visited this restaurant on the recommendation of a friend, and I absolutely loved it! The food was incredibly delicious, so much so that we went twice during our stay. The waitress was very attentive and sweet, making our experience even better. The only downside was that every time we tried to make a reservation, the available slots were quite late, around 9:30 PM. Other than that, our experience was fantastic, and we can’t wait to come back!
