Lo recomiendo siempre! Me gusta mucho ir a desayunar aquí pero el día de hoy fui a la hora de la comida y el menú es el mismo para comida y cenas, tiene de todo un poco. el servicio muy bueno por parte de todos, en verdad muy amables y atentos a todo. Pedimos mesa con vista al mar y si había disponibles, los baños limpios y la música a un nivel adecuado siempre vuelvo, gracias!!!

Hola lugar muy bueno, con un excelente ambiente, el servicio por parte del mesero espectacular, coctelería muy buena aún que el servicio de comida tardo un poco, pero de ahí en fuera todo bien.

Piaggia was a treat! We’ve been eating at beach front restaurants for years, but this one is special. I love the usual bare bones beach restaurants. Piaggia is different - It’s true fine dining on the beach. This was my first experience with that sort of set up and I was frankly blown away. Food was similar to what you would get in any fine Italian restaurant around the world. Attention to detail was excellent. Front of house crew was professional and accommodating. Just A+ all around. Really impressed.

Very romantic. The gnocchi was amazing. Service was excellent. Perfect view of the beach, reservation was at 7pm beach is open to public so was crowded with locals.

La Piaggia es un gran lugar para cenas romanticas, en familia o con amigos. La comida y los platos son de extraordinaria calidad, pero lo mejor es la ubicacion del lugar con vista al hermoso mas caribe turquesa de Playa del Carmen. Los vinos por copa son limitados, por lo que recomiendo pidas botella completa y que alguien te acompañe para compartirla. Gran Lugar!!

We enjoyed the best ocean view table on the north side of Playa- two floors up and directly overlooking the sea. We loved the upscale ambiance and tasteful background music for my husband’s birthday celebration. Happily, the food and service also shine at Piaggia: creative, high quality, and artfully presented. (And thank you, Piaggia, for the festive ending!) Sometimes it’s worth paying a bit more for something very special, and we highly recommend Piaggia to others looking for such a dining experience.

Nos gustó muchísimo el ambiente, la decoración, el servicio y la comida. Todo estupendo. El único “pero”, por un tema de gusto personal, es que hay demasiados platos en la carta de la cena que se elaboran con mantequilla o crema. Al ser comida de inspiración mediterránea, pensábamos que habría más elaboraciones con aceite de oliva. Pero todo lo que pedimos estaba delicioso. Lo recomiendo mucho!

Excellent atmosphere, view, and service. The bar manager talked us into the limoncello drink special, which was amazing, and gave my husband a really fun mezcal tasting experience. Will definitely return.

Dead, cooked fly in our food…just one among many reasons I would not suggest anyone bother eating here. Service was horrible. Slow/no table service (basics such as drink refills) and the lobster was overcooked to the point of being mushy…which is probably why it took an hour for it to come out. This place is horribly managed…lots of employees standing around; however, not providing service. After we pointed out the fly, no apology or even an acknowledgment. I would strongly suggest Luma Taverna Del Mar just a few blocks away. Dinner there cost exactly the same and was amazing…easily a hundred times better on all counts.

Location is fantastic, intimate and one of the best spots in PDC. Service was awkward as we were a party of 7 and 5 were finished their meal and ready to look over the dessert menu while 2 were just being served their entrees with zero explaination. Wine was good, the old fashion was 95% sugar and one of the worst ever i flooded it with water and chugged it back. Food was ok but no where memorable. I would go back and choose differently in hopes of a better expierence as the location is just that good.

12 personas hemos ido y la atención y servicio ha sido muy buena. Sin embargo, los alimentos no son calidad precio. Muchos de mis acompañantes han mencionado que los platillos estaban faltos de sazón, sabor. Una serie de comentarios que realmente no me han dejado satisfecho, puesto que he recomendado el lugar teniendo altas expectativas de su cocina.

The hostess was never able to answer my messages regarding my reservation. The place was very warm. Dishes on the menu were not available. The waiter did not meet my expectations, never brought me a popote to drink a frozen beverage and was charging me for the whole dinner, although I already provided an advance payment. Most important of all, it was my wife’s birthday and they never brought me a cake that they promised. Worst place to have a dinner. Food was terrible.

Great spot and amazing view. As far as Playa del carmen restaurants go this would be considered an intimate restaurant. Excellent service and great food. Recommended for a special occasion.

Excelentes vistas, comodidad y servicio, la comida me dejó algo que desear, pedí los mejillones, estaban abiertos y eran como unos 8. El pollo bueno, el cordero estaba crudo (muy rojo) lo pedimos cortado y que volviera a estar en sartén.
