Phuc Yea offers a selection of shareable plates that capture the soulfulness and passion behind family-rooted recipes, the restaurant is inspired by Aniece Meinhold's Vietnamese heritage and Cesar Zapata's Third Coast culinary roots. Under one roof, guests are invited to marvel at Biscayne's blossoming Mimo District; embrace 90's hip-hop, street-cool music; and enjoy Cesar's version of Viet- Cajun cuisine - a lively mash up of fresh and colorful Vietnamese ingredients pumped up with spicy, bold Cajun flavors. This grown up version of Phuc Yea is largely seafood driven.

Brunch features a dim sum style menu that highlights classic American brunch preparations. It is at brunch, Chef Zapata will feature his Gulf and Southern influences more prominently while still integrating Vietnamese breakfast tradition.

Took my friend to Phuc Yea to celebrate my birthday and they did not disappoint! Food was delicious and drinks were great! Our Server (i do not remember her name but she is tall and blonde) was super attentive and provided us with amazing suggestions. I will definitely be returning with possibly a larger group !

This place was excellent, I took my girlfriend there for her birthday and the food was amazing. We didn’t have to wait long for the food after we ordered and the service was excellent. Our waiter was Mark and he was super cool and very hospitable. Any questions we had about the menu he was very knowledgeable and gave us the best recommendations. Overall this place was great 10/10 recommend.

The food is fine but extremely overpriced. There are no options for kids, making it even more restrictive for families.

Our server was the most exceptional, prompt, and courteous server we had encountered at Phuc Yeah! I am forever grateful for her kindness and her attention. The food unfortunately did not meet our expectations with every plate. Our first time there, phuc yea had an EPIC sushi roll with shrimp and pork, which they switched up the second time into a lack luster spring roll with MINIMAL pork or shrimp. Second, I have never felt so ripped off as having a bao bun, which is usually with pork there and is amazing, with a fried piece of broccoli instead. It was a cool flavor, but what a rip off to charge 18 bucks for two pieces of fried broccoli inside a bao bun and truly insufficient material to dump inside a bao bun. Besides that, the other plates were amazing. The spicy dumplings, the ceviche (was even more delicious with the left over spicy dumpling sauce), the masitas de puerco, the oxtail, and the black cod (SO DELICIOUS) were phenomenal. They were able to make up for the two lack luster plates. The desserts were hit and miss. The coconut crossaint bread pudding was okay, but nothing special and very bread heavy. The carrot cake though..... Was out of hand. Wow, we were so glad we did the bread pudding first, and finished off with the 5 spice carrot cake. In the end, the meal was great, and the mistakes I made would have been avoided has I confirmed what exactly was inside a broccoli bao (no meat), and a crispy imperial roll (spring roll instead of sushi roll) because their descriptions are a bit vague and can be misinterpreted. We will definitely be back to eat again!!

Food is delicious. We had Oysters, PY noodles, Black Cod, Ceviche and Papaya salad. All wonderful. The over all meal was full of fresh seafood that was wonderfully prepared with the bright notes of acid and citrus you expect from Veitnamese food. But plates were small. Prices high for the size. Waitstaff was incompetent and the place is very small and loud.

Bartender was cursing loudly, menu read limited because the chef wasn’t there so we could only order on happy hour menu. Service was decent but sadly we didn’t get the experience we wanted.
