Yes booked a table the same day we visited Sunday 5th May. Was shown to our table by the manager Alex. When waiting there must of been over 50 people who came in asking for a table and was told none was available. The restaurant was only about half full and it was obvious they were understaffed. The restaurant only opened up a couple of months ago so they still haven’t sorted enough staff. After waiting 30 minutes to order a drink I approached Alex at the counter who fair to Alex he was a nice guy. He explained they were short staffed and he was sorry. I decided to leave and probably won’t be returning. Why do they let people book if they can’t cope. He spoilt my evening as was really looking forward to eating here.

The food was very tasty, we ordered for 6 people and all of the food were on the table in about 10-15 minutes, same with the dessert, the servers were very nice and friendly and they are ready for kids as well as they gave crayons and paper to my brother's little daughter without asking :) The place is very lovely and good looking and in a popular area in Liverpool. I would recommend it to everyone :)

Went for the Liverpool Restaurant Week deal with Mains, a drink and prawn crackers for £15. I went for Beef Vermicelli noodles which were tasty but not so keen on the noodles being at room temperature. My wife had a chicken Rice bowl which she enjoyed. TBH I would prefer a conventional Chinse.

I ordered a prawn curry for main course. Was disappointed as there was only 3 prawns in it. My wife had similar with only 3 prawns.

They brought us the wrong order, by the time they brought the food (which was still not what we ordered) the other main was almost cold. Mains arrived before the drinks and starter. We have to kept chasing for our food, drinks and starters. Just because we were using a set menu offer it doesn't mean that we deserve a worse service or being ignored. The Bold Street venue is always spot on with service but the Castle Street one is always poor. It's the second time we have experience this poor service at the Castle Street venue.

Far too expensive for the quality of food you get. If it was half the price it would be great but far too Pricey for basic food.

Terrible service. There was no one near our table for ages and all the attempts to draw attention were futile. When we finally managed the waiter just kept cleaning the table next to is after we asked for a bill, so waited for ages again for someone else to go past us. The music was super loud and not relaxing at all, really annoying.

The food was passable, and the ambience lacked the expected Vietnamese touch. However, the most off-putting part was the abruptness in closing. Despite booking a table at 8:30 pm, we felt rushed as the waiter aggressively insisted on settling the bill, even though it was only 9:30 pm. Not the relaxing dining experience we anticipated

Food was very tasty, service was a little slow at times, a variety of music playing in the background. Overall, a lovely experience would definitely return. Pho House special was beautiful and wok fried rice beautiful and a nice spice level!

Don't know what they hype was. Food was not very good. Me personally would say a fast food place unfortunately. Only good thing was the staff were very friendly. Also no cash payments which I totally don't agree with. Will not be returning and won't be recommending.

Poor service, waited 20 mins for a drink. Finally received the drink alongside the meal. Ordered a dessert to share and had to wait ages for this. The restaurant wasn’t busy so they couldn’t use that as an excuse.

The food was outstanding and plenty of choice for our whole party. As we had two vegans and one vegetarian party there was plenty for them to choose from. The curry was amazing! Probably the best I have ever tasted tbh. My family said the spring rolls were the nicest they have ever tried, they tasted home made and were superb. The staff were very friendly and attentive. We asked about the level of spice in some food and the server was more than helpful. Overall we had a fantastic dining experience

Really wanted to love this place - sadly it was all a bit blah. Food was okay but kind of bland and weird tasting in bits (chicken pho broth so over cinnamoned it tasted like Xmas pudding). Pork meatballs over cooked and dry - no other taste to them. Chicken in the pho was dry. You have to pay extra for any veg in your soup and the bill for 3 (starters, pho bowls, soft drinks and coffee) was an eye watering £99! Adding 12.5% service and then saying that we could remove it at the table is really tight as no one wants to be mean to waiting staff. But really £99 for 3 bowls of soup - think you’ve really lost your way regarding value for money. Was disappointed and probably won’t return which is a shame as it’s the kind of food I usually love but was just done badly and massively overpriced even in these difficult times.

Poor. Not the fault of the staff but we’d booked the latest table we could online for 10pm and when we turned up we’re told that the kitchen closed at 9pm and that we shouldn’t have been able to book. Left us without tea as everywhere else we went to had closed.

Not sure what the difference is between the 2 Liverpool venues but the service is vastly superior in the bold street venue than the castle street venue . We ate yesterday and the restaurant wasn’t busy 3 service staff on and the wait for a service member of staff to come and take our drinks order was at least 10 minutes , the food order was taken which as always arrives promptly in each restaurant. No cutlery had to ask which isn’t a problem but the tables are usually set ready to go , main courses arrived , no chop sticks , I had given up asking for anything so collected our own . No table check backs , once we had finished we waited and waited for a service member of staff so we could ask for the bill . I noticed there was a member of staff across the way chatting with either friends or staff and not really working the restaurant so had to go and ask for the bill , to which I thought was on its way to see her carry on the conversation and not bring the bill over. Unfortunately we won’t be using this restaurant again in the future . Great experience in York and bold street Liverpool poh . It’s a treat for me and my 10 years old daughter when we head to Liverpool as she really enjoys the venues but sadly she has taken to not liking this one and doesn’t want to return.

A couple of things were not great. First, we have eaten at the Bold Street restaurant many times before and thought the food there was better – I had the spicy green soup and it was definitely spicier and had more vegetables at the bold Street venue. Another thing we noticed was that the payment handset seems to add on tips twice – two of us actually paid tips twice which we realised when we’d left and we’re not too happy about.
