It was me and my wife anniversary yesterday and decided to try this place out for the occasion. I must say the mood and vibe was very intimate. The place was clean and the noise level for what it was, it was okay could’ve been a bit more quiet. The food was outstanding, although very pricey given the name of the establishment. But definitely had superb flavor. One thing that me and wife did agree on was feeling like we were being watched while were dining the whole time. I understanding the level of hypercare a pricey place like this would go through for the customer, but it was a bit uncomfortable. It made me feel like I was being rushed to eat my food, for them to get traffic in and out of the door. Besides that we both had a great time and had a good experience.

The food is truly superb - best Peking Duck anywhere. And the staff was so gracious. It was cold, and the hostess turned the A/C down. Our server was completely attentive but didn’t rush us. We were celebrating a birthday so got the over-the-top dessert platter and it was so worth it.

Always enjoy coming to my favorite restaurant! Love the chicken lettuce wraps/chicken dumplings as well as the chicken satays. Had two creamy lychee martinis as always, can’t wait to go back

The experience at Philippe Chow is consistently excellent! The crispy duck is some of the best we have eaten anywhere! A great evening and a menu to satisfy and a taste wonderful dishes from of various regions of China. This is one of our favorite Asian restaurants.

First time at Phillipe Chow and it did not disappoint. The food was outstanding, lovely flavours. Our service manager changed in the middle of our evening which was a good thing, as the first person was not really engaged or interested in helping us with our questions. The ambiance was good. Service was excellent overall. We are looking forward to returning. Please open a location in Montreal or Toronto!!

Everything was A+ excellent! Florin took amazing care of us. Best lychee martini, freshest crispy spring roll, also I don’t think I’ve ever tasted lo mein noodles that good! We ordered a lot of food- fish and seafood, including dessert, and every single dish was delicious!

Last week me and my friend decided to grab lunch at Philipe UES …as soon as we walked in,hostess and manager approached us and sits us at the table we requested…restaurant was busy for that time of the day …we had amazing pri fix lunch menu with the some new dish (spicy mango shrimp )that is on the menu ,and it was soooo good …our waiter was excellent and even manager came to check on us and each table in dinning room …as always ,Phillipe never disappoints ..highly recommend going for lunch as well ,great atmosphere and amazing menu !

We made the reservation through Open Table which is always so easy. First impressions matter and the hostess was almost the reason we were going to go somewhere else. She told us to wait for a table (although there were lots of tables observed to be open), took another couple after us to seat them, did not ask for jackets upon check-in and I don’t think even half-smiled. Luckily, we wanted a cocktail while we waited and the bartender offered amazing service with a punchy personality. He appeared professional, knew the menu, made recommendations and was the reason we stayed. We ended up staying and having dinner at the bar. When we are paying for better service, we expect professional service. Other than that, we absolutely loved the food.

Highly recommend the Peking duck! It’s carved tableside and cooked to perfection. The homemade pancakes and duck sauce compliment the duck very nicely. The satays are also not to be missed!

We were crammed in between other guests, and it was so loud we couldn’t have a conversation. We heard every word the people next to us said to each other and over FaceTime. The food was very average. We ordered vegetable Lo mein ( very few veggies/ almost all noodles) and sweet and sour chicken. Trader Joe’s is just as good if not better..

Returned to Philippe Chow for birthday dinner with friend. Love the chicken Kao Pau and enjoy dining in covered street shed. Unfortunately, friend was not well and requested simple chicken dish with snow peas, no spice, garlic, etc. Was extremely surprised and disappointed Chef refused, because it wasn't on the menu. Friend was so upset she will never dine there again. Waiter finally came up with an acceptable chicken dish. Most unusual not to accommodate simple request, especially for medical reasons.

Overpriced Chinese food with service one finds at a restaurant in a hovel in an armpit of the city. Door remained locked until 3pm and when admitted, servers were clearing cups and plates in the middle of eating and conversation. I could understand that if our table was needed; however the restaurant was empty save two other tables. I was poured a on the house margarita - which, some might find kind - instead I found the drink so strong and really put a damper on my ordering a sparkling wine to pair with my meal. The price is beyond elevated. I won’t be returning.

Terrible.. they seat you so close to each table the only way to get out is to have them move the table out. The Crispy beef is awful and so are the dumplings.

Don't mind the place for lunch but in the evening it is too loud to have a decent conversation. The weird and Miami Beach music doesn't help either. Food is ok-ish, great ingredients, nothing special spice wise.

It was a bit overwhelming having so many plates on the table so I had them take back the main course so we could concentrate on the food in front of us. Perhaps the plates should be smaller or the tables larger to accommodate having everything served to us all at once. The spicy soup as always was great. The crispy duck rolls were were good. The salmon was tasteless and over-cooked - but not crispy. The salt and pepper shrimp were tasteless. The desserts were amazing.

We had the lunch special. A 3-course meal for around $36. It is a really great deal. The chicken, lettuce wraps are awesome. The chicken satay, delicious. The entrees were also delicious - both the velvet chicken and the delectably sweet crispy beef. The2 desserts are not your usual Chinese restaurant desserts. These are chocolate and raspberry tortes. We were too full to eat them at the restaurant so I can’t tell you yet how they taste. But, I am confident they will live up to the standards set by this excellent restaurant.

Il n’y a pas vraiment d’intimité, les tables sont très proches les unes des autres . La cuisine est bonne mais pas exceptionnelle .

What a fabulous visit we had. The Beijing Chicken was so tasty. The Lobster fried rice was amazing. The duck spring rolls and sauce were crunchy and flavourful. Hubby had the candy floss dessert and it was spectacular to have at the table. Server's were top notch, helpful but didn't hover. 100% recommend.
