Excellent service, and foods are really outstanding. Bread looks very like the baguette I used to had in Paris. Overall, I really love to have this excellent brunch at terrace which is in the day is so wonderful.

We have been to PRB many times as a party of two or three, but this was the first time we had a group of 12. It was a graduation party with members of two families. Everyone loved the food and the service was perfect — They were there for us every moment we needed it and did not rush us along. It was a great celebration.

This restaurant came highly recommended by multiple people. We were very disappointed. It was a hot day, and the air conditioning was not working well. Our table was extremely tight. I am 6' 7" and need some leg room. The large party next to us was so loud that we could hardly hear each other across the table. Our server was trying her best, it was a busy day there. Service was a bit slow. Our salads were wonderful, the drinks were adequate. We both ordered the Beef Bourguignon. Unfortunately mine was full of gristle. We only had 2 pieces of meat. I have eaten at many other French Restaurants and always had a delicious Bourguignon. I was disappointed. Our water was not replenished in a timely fashion, as the restaurant was so tightly packed, the servers had very little space to walk in. I mentioned this to our server, Cara. She listened and did the best that she could. My recommendation is to avoid this restaurant if you want a really wonderful experience. There are many fine restaurants in the Boston area. My partner and I eat out several times a week , and always frequent fine dining establishments. Unfortunately this is not one of them.

I moved to the South End 4 years ago. Petit Robert has become a favorite place. I feel the level of excellence is unmatched in the quality of both food and service. We especially love the sidewalk cafe, but whether on the patio or in the dining room, we are never rushed and always have a wonderful experience!!

We have been to Petit Robert Bistro many times over the years. Last night, however, we were disappointed. The food was good but not outstanding, and the noise in particular was much too loud. It made for a hard-to-enjoy dinner.

I love this restaurant. Easier to hear at lunch when it’s usually less crowded, but lovely food, lovely waitstaff, and a lovely place for a date. Oh, a date… chance would be a fine thing…

After waiting ten minutes to be greeted which we were ok with since it was Mother’s Day and it’s expected to be busy, the waitress greeted us with a curt “can I help you?” And went down from there. She couldn’t have been more rude it was like she just didn’t want to be there or be bothered. I asked for a manager and he promptly made it better by taking her away from us and giving us an excellent server Alias which thankfully salvaged the meal.

Everything was great overall! One waffle was a bit over cooked and the halibut portion was small but they still tasted good!
