The food is local and amazing every dish was well thought and the intense flavor of german food was softened and mixed to make it delicate and interesting. The waiter sat down with us to explore the menu and tailor it with the best choices for us and same was done for the wine selection. Great choice I highly recommend it.

This was a wonderful dinner. The ‘tapas’ approach to German dishes was creative and innovative, and portioned just right. Each dish was exceptionally beautiful and delicious. The staff was friendly and our waiter was very helpful and attentive. We enjoyed this dining experience in Berlin, and highly recommend!!

We really enjoyed our dinner at PeterPaul last night. Not that easy to find, as darker than a lot of the surrounding bars and eateries, but once inside, there was a warm and lively atmosphere, with most tables full even at 7pm. Our waitress was lovely, and we had 4 main dishes from the 'tapas' style menu, and 2 sides, which certainly filled us up. As one might expect, quite meat dominated on the mains, but our favourite was the cheese dumpling dish. In our attempt to stay on the German theme, we had a bottle of Das Kleine Kreux, which was good, though probably not amazing value for money if we compared to our Italian red the night before.

Highly recommend, great selection of food, staff very friendly and helpful. Some have said the price is a little, but if you want quality and service this good then you should be willing to pay for it. Would definately visit again.

Es war ein Erlebnis, deutsches Essen, mal in einem ganz anderen Format zu erleben. Dieses Restaurant ist etwas für internationale Gäste, die sich mal der deutschen Küche nähern möchten, aber auch etwas für Menschen, die die traditionelle Küche seit langem evtl. schon aus ihrer Kindheit kennen und diese mal in einem anderen Gewand erleben möchten.

Dieses Restaurant ist eine absolute Empfehlung, wenn man sich in Berlin mal etwas gönnen möchte und auf deutsche Küche steht. Liebevoll zubereitetes und sehr leckeres Essen treffen auf einen wirklich sehr umsorgenden Service, der mein persönliches Highlight war. Wir haben uns dort sehr gut aufgehoben gefühlt (wenn gleich die Reservierung erst mit einer Wartezeit von ca. 10-15 Minuten wahrgenommen werden konnte - allerdings war der Laden auch sehr gut besucht, da Valentinstag). Serviert werden deutsche Tapas, also etwas kleinere Portionen. Zu zweit haben wir zwei Vorspeisen gewählt, zwei „Hauptgerichte“ und ein Dessert. Mit Getränken in top sind wir bei ca. 150€ rausgekommen, dazu gab es noch einen der Gruß der Küche und eine kleine Aufmerksamkeit nach dem Essen on top. Eine tolle Location für einen besonderen Abend. Das nächste mal dann vielleicht an einem anderen Datum…

Great take on German food - the smaller portions and variety was refreshing. A lovely place to have Valentine’s dinner while visiting Berlin!

The idea of German-themed tapas, sharing plates is great. The food is well cooked and interesting. It is not particularly cheap though, and a wider range of desserts would be good. I would recommend this restaurant for an occasion.

Eine tolle Alternative zu herkömmlichen deutschen Restaurants. Es gibt deutsches Essen auf Topniveau aber in kleinen Portionen, die man sich am Tisch aufteilt - sodass man viele unterschiedliche Gerichte genießen kann. Selbst aks Kenner der Gerichte eine neue Erfahrung - für ausländischen Gäste ist es eine super Möglichkeit zeitgleich viele deutsche Gerichte bei einem Abendessen zu erleben.
