We always come to Perry's when we are in Austin. We had a group of eight and the service very good. The food was excellent as always. It is not a quiet night on a Friday and the noise is quite loud and energetic. I always recommend Perry's.

We had a 5:30 reservation and were seated at 5:10. The server was friendly but failed to get my husband’s drink and we had to ask for mine once we got our dinner. The meal was excellent and the server became more attentive after we got our meal. When we made the reservation we specifically requested a booth and showed it was for an anniversary. But when we were seated at “a table”, the waitress asked if we were celebrating anything special?

Way too crowded. Oversold reservations, we waited 30 minutes after reservation time. Horribly noisy for an intimate Mother’s Day luncheon. Tables were too close together, and there was loud music playing. The access and valet parking situation was awful. Would not go back.

Not a bad spot, pretty expensive for what it is. The steak was really good but their "sides for 2" are obnoxiously large, and there are no smaller portion sized. 3/5 overall. Would eat there once for the experience but probably won't go back

We paired the Perry’s pinot noir with the steak flight and it was spectacular. Without a doubt the best cuts I’ve ever had in my life. Without a doubt will return upon my next venture to the weird city of ATX. NOM NOM NOM

A party of eight of us were there for a special occasion. We arrived a bit early and Victoria, the hostess, immediately helped to accommodate our group and special requests. The manager, Shea, personally checked with us to ensure we had our needs taken care of. Phil, who was our waiter, provided a world class experience. He called us by our names, and was attentive to each persons needs at the table. The food did not disappoint. Overall a flawless experience that created a wonderful lasting memory. Thanks!

In town for state track meet. 5 of us had steaks, all cooked to perfection. Cocktails were delicious. Waitress could have been a bit more attentive. However, we were impressed manager checked in on us twice. I will recomend!

The steak was extremely salty. When asked why so salty, the waiter explained on two occasions persistently the Mr. Perry, the owner of this steak house likes his steaks to be coated and cooked with a generous amount of Salt. My impressions were that they really did not seem to care about their customer preferences. Unfortunately I sensed a great deal of arrogance on the part of the waiter, shower I tipped her generously, as I felt they were being told to say this , as if it was scripted - Very Strange experience.

Friday pork chop day always brings in a crowd. Yesterday was the end of Admin Professionals week so extra crazy. We were seated upstairs and the noise level was defeating. Wished we had sat downstairs. Absolute sensory overload for all of us. We could not hear each other, everyone else were screaming at the top of their lungs to get heard. I feel so bad for the servers who had to endure this. Food and service were excellent. Very professional and friendly. Very patient in explaining and recommending.

I ordered the Ribeye, mashed potatoes (loaded) and let me tell you. I have eaten steaks all over and this one here is by far the best I have ever had. Perfectly cooked at medium rare, and each bite dealt like I was eating butter. Soft, tender and delicious. I would definitely recommend Perry’s and I will be back next time I’m in Austin.

They insist on turning the lights so low that you can’t see your food. All of us at our table complained about that. They need to grasp that this restaurant is not for young people— it’s not hip and it is expensive— but for middle aged folks and older, who aren’t there for “romance” but a decent meal for adults…

Waiter was amazing. He reviewed the entire menu, my friend’s steak was medium well and not medium rare like she ordered and he graciously fixed that, and just gave us overall a nice experience. It was the end of the day and I’m sure he was tired, but he was still very lovely and kind.

We went to celebrate our anniversary. Even though we have lived here 15 years,somehow we hadn’t made it Perry’s . We were looking forward to our visit, made our reservation, and noted we were celebrating our anniversary. We dressed according to the online dress code and were surprised the moment we opened the door to see men in T shirts, jeans and sneakers, only a handful of women were dressed in business casual. Most everyone was dressed casual. We walked up to the hostess stand. No friendly greeting. 3 people were working the area and no one mentioned our anniversary which was noted on our reservation. Our waiter was new and was the best part of our experience. His service was friendly, and he performed as if he had worked there for years. I ordered my steak butterfly cut and med well- it came out closer to between medium and rare. Same issue with my husband’s entree. The siracha brussel sprouts were meh. I’ve had better tasting brussel sprouts from a food truck- even Whole Foods serves better tasting sprouts. This was also the first time I’ve ever experienced Brussels sprouts with the splintered stems still attached. Ouch! I’ve heard a friend of mine describe about how delicious the macaroni and cheese is, again, we were disappointed. I make Mac and cheese using brown rice pasta and mine comes out of the oven with a better texture and equally tasty flavor. The lobster bisque and Tuscan bread were the best part of the meal. The wine selection was also impressive. Our evening would’ve been better if we had just stopped in for a drink and appetizer/starter and moved on to another restaurant.

Once we were seated it was very good, but we had a reservation for 9pm and were seared only 9:40pm. It closes 10pm snd staff started cleaning the salon before we finished our meal. We were celebrating my daughter’s admission to UT Austin and it was a bit of a bummer… but the food is great!

The food was excellent. My only complaint is I ordered a medium rare steak and it was more on the medium side. When paying $89 for a ribeye, I’d really prefer it to be how I actually ordered it. Still a great steak BUT would’ve been even better had it been accurate. Everything from service to the atmosphere was great. I’d definitely go back again if we lived closer (from out of state). This was my wife and I’s anniversary dinner selection. While everything else was perfect, I really wish my Akaushi Wagyu steak would’ve been less “done”. Highly recommend!

We had a fantastic experience celebrating our birthdays and anniversary. The staff greeted us with a rose petal heart on the table and was very attentive and kind. Our waiter was formal and professional through the entire experience. The service was a bit slow due to a higher volume of guests, but he kept us updated through the entire experience. Each item we ordered was great. Thank you for a fantastic celebration!

First time in Austin and first time ever dining at Perry’s. It was absolutely wonderful! Our server (Siegfried) was one of the best servers I’ve ever had. Lamb chops were some of the best ever! Also, make sure you try the corn brûlée!!!

Reservation was at 8pm, took almost 2 hours to get us a table, we ordered right away, took another hour to get our food. Hands down the Worst meal we’ve had!!!
