great food though a little pricey. Nice patio to sit outside and people watch. The tuna tostadas were delicious but there were only two of them in an appetizer order

I had some oysters as an appetizer, and they were absolutely terrible. So chewy I could not even swallow them. Bit into a second oyster and had the same result and pushed the dish away. And then I was worried the rest of the evening that I was going to get sick - but luckily never did.

We received a very warm welcome, including a sweet card for our anniversary celebration. The service exceeded our expectations and made for a lovely evening. Be sure to make a reservation as this place is pretty popular

The snapper was very good! The lobster roll was ok. Lobster can be chewy and this was. There is a beautiful outside patio for dining. The service was top notch. We ate inside and there is a very strong smell of smoke due to the wood grill. My hair and clothes smelled strongly of the smoke when we got home. I would eat outside next time, but I do recommend Perla’s.

Great location and ambiance. Food was good, but not quite worth the price. Also, had not vegetarian options if you go with a group of diverse eaters. Seating was a challenge at first, but after being assertive it was addressed.

Delicious food and the vibe was amazing. The server was kind and helpful. The bourbon drink with tempranillo float was delightful, we loved the grilled oysters, lobster roll, and Mac and cheese (might’ve been my favorite ??) The only downside was the cake cutting fee was over 30$, and while they validated 2 hours of parking, the service was slow because of how busy it was so we went over the time limit and not sure how much it’s going to charge.

We came and had brunch here a couple years ago and decided to come for dinner this visit. It did not disappoint! Every single person that worked there were so kind and took time to talk to us, including the sous chef that happened to be at the oyster bar, the host that greeted us, and our wonderful server named Chip. We had the Cadillac oysters from Maine, which were one of the best we’ve ever tasted. Their drinks are always the best, and everything we ordered was divine. We ordered the Ahi tostadas and they were excellent. We also ordered th the crab wedge salad, which we split because it was huge. The crab is sweet and no fishy taste whatsoever, the dressing is dynamite… Just the best. We ordered the snapper and the potato crusted Seabass - Fresh fresh delicious. Perlas deserve a 5 out of a 5 on all levels.

Waiter was down and never smiled. Service was spotty as she disappeared several times. What used to be my most fave place is Austin, is no more🥲🥲

12 different types of fresh oysters -- you don't find that very often. Octopus was good, but perhaps a bit salty.

Perla's has been one of our favorite restaurants in Austin since we moved here - great food, great service. It's been a while since we've been here and I'm happy to report that nothing has changed. Perla's is still outstanding!

Great meal. Oysters well fabulous. The only iPod the sticky table. It was the finish that had worn off. Needs another coat of treatment

The restaurant came highly recommended. Our server was good, but food was lacking in taste and quality. The outdoor patio would be better if standing table fans were utilized to keep bees and flies away. This is my first time here, so a 2nd trip will be done to ensure it was not just a bad night.

Our favorite meal in Austin!! Had the lobster roll and it was delicious! The German chocolate cake was outstanding!! Matthew our server was fantastic !!

The food was phenomenal. I got the Halibut and my girl got the sea bass. Both were cooked to perfection. The atmosphere was amazing, very laid back. If I could give more stars, I would. I will recommend Perla’s to anyone in the area

Recommended by family that used to live in Austin. Pretty restaurant and close to the hotel so we thought we’d splurge. So disappointed we waisted one of two nights in a great food city. Snapper overcooked and VERY small portion—mostly skin-definitely a tail end. Fish and chips were fine. Server was ambivalent and disinterested. Never came back to check on food after delivered. Felt like cattle being pushed through. Very expensive to be treated like you’re not really there. Waited on second drink and then the order was wrong—brought two. Plus, definitely didn’t walk away feeling over fed. Such a disappointment.
