Pendolino is the new restaurant from chef-owner Kevin Maxey, debuting spring of 2024 in Atlanta. Taking up an Italian disposition – one where eating and culture are inseparable – we are proud to offer Chastain Park a classy-casual neighborhood place.
Come join us in our dining room or our sun-filled patio for an unbeatable setting. One side of the restaurant boasts a curved oak wood bar with casual café style seating, and views of the wood burning oven. The main dining room has a lux mix of comfy banquettes, graciously sized booths, and marble topped tables and there is a private dining room that can be enclosed for festive celebrations. Whether you are out for a date night or late night, feasting with friends or family, popping by for an afternoon snack or lingering for a special occasion, we can’t wait to host you.

    The food was incredible and the restaurant itself is light airy and beautifully designed. Really enjoyed our meal here.

    The food was adequate, but un spectacular. The plating was OK, but not terribly attractive. Consequently, we did not think that it was a very good value for the money that was spent. Our server, however, was very good.

    Took 45 minutes to get our drinks, but they did apologize once we let them know. Food was pretty good. Ala Vodka dish was the hit of the night.

    Good service and vibe. Way too noisy as the place is all hard surfaces and high ceilings. Small plates were tasty, if a little small. Mains were frankly dull. Chicken parm was terrible. Over cooked, dry, salty mess. Pastas were fine, ravioli probably the best of the 4 dishes we got. Wanted to love this place as any new neighborhood place is welcome.

    Everything was absolutely amazing, the pork shoulder tagliatelle was one of the best pasta dishes I’ve had in years

    The space was lovely and there are a lot of tables. The small plates we had were very good (crudo and burrata) and the pasta was good, but nothing amazing.
