Pendolino is the new restaurant from chef-owner Kevin Maxey, debuting spring of 2024 in Atlanta. Taking up an Italian disposition – one where eating and culture are inseparable – we are proud to offer Chastain Park a classy-casual neighborhood place.
Come join us in our dining room or our sun-filled patio for an unbeatable setting. One side of the restaurant boasts a curved oak wood bar with casual café style seating, and views of the wood burning oven. The main dining room has a lux mix of comfy banquettes, graciously sized booths, and marble topped tables and there is a private dining room that can be enclosed for festive celebrations. Whether you are out for a date night or late night, feasting with friends or family, popping by for an afternoon snack or lingering for a special occasion, we can’t wait to host you.

They have really made this space beautiful! Food and service were excellent. A much needed addition to the area.

The food is delicious although portions are small. The service is rushed. But, we will try this new restaurant again.

It was a nice meal and our server did a good job overall. However, it took almost 30 minutes to get our two cocktails. We had our appetizers and finished them before we got our drinks. Our server did check on them several times and apologized for the delay - he said they were backed up. It looked like there was only one bartender for the entire restaurant which was pretty packed. The cheesy garlic bread was delicious. The olives were bland. I had the house salad and the diavola pizzette which was definitely spicy as advertised but nothing great. My husband and daughter had the chicken scallopine which was huge - they definitely could have shared an order and a side of pasta. It was good but the chicken was a little thick and the breading ended up being wet and just fell off. The pasta was homemade and they said it was good but needed more sauce. Overall, for a $200 meal, I was pretty underwhelmed and nothing really “wowed” us. I doubt we will make the trip back.

Good is delicious and service was great. The pizza is not to be missed. We had it as a starter. Delicious!

My best friend was very excited to try Pendolino for the first time and it did not disappoint. From the patio seating to the food and the wine pairings from the somm. We were able to see the sunset from the patio as well and it was a perfect way to end our experience.

Food was good but not memorable. The Calamari appetizer was the highlight of our meal. We sat indoors in a booth and it was extremely cold from the air conditioning.

Some of the best Italian in Atlanta! Definitely try the deserts.

Good food, but we won’t return due to terrible service. Starters arrived before drinks. Then we we waited two hours for our pasta orders. Never did get silverware. Neighboring tables came and went while we waited, and waited. Two people, no special requests, should have been easy. Manager comped the entrees and one starter, but that was too little too late.
