We dined at Pellegrino last night for the first time. I booked a table for 5 a number of weeks ago to celebrate my son’s 21st birthday and we were all looking forward to the evening. Unfortunately our dining experience was disappointing. The truffle butter, Vitello tonnato & the pappardelle Ragu were way too salty. Perhaps the most disappointing was the carbonara which 2 of us ordered. The pasta was rubbery & dry - no silkiness. No finesse. What a shame.

All of entrée that we've ordered were AMAZING, and it's the best I've ever EVER EVR had. Only carbonara was not seasoned enough, but entrée covered up rest of the satisfaction. Thank you very much who was looking after our table, and defo come again!

Went to Pellegrino 2000 for a date night and we were not disappointed. The food was super tasty and the portions great. Exceptional service. Highlights were the focaccia with truffle Parmesan butter, the veal cutlet and the tiramisu.

We booked a later reservation as we just had to eat at Pellegrino and try it after a glowing review from our friend, the staff serving us were so welcoming and friendly, giving us amazing recommendations on food and wine that would compliment each other, suggesting the focaccia as a starter was such a blessing as it was delicious dipped in herbed butter and oil followed by the mouth watering carbonara! The staff kept ensuring we had adequate water and drinks topped up. Inside was a dimly lit, ambient and romantic environment, the surrounding conversation added to the experience of everyone enjoying themselves and having a great time around us, we can’t wait to come back! It’s no wonder why Taylor swift visited! Thank you all for your hospitality!

Loved this place! The ambience was a mixture of charming, romantic (whether you’re with a partner or not) and felt like a trattoria you’d find in Europe and equally genuine staff. It was the first day of their new menu and I don’t know what the old menu was like, but the dishes we had were flavoursome and delicious! Standouts were the Crudo di Mare, fried pizza, papardelle bologenese and salad.

Overall we enjoyed our dinner, great service and ambience. Highly recommend the focaccia w truffle butter, crudo and peppers with anchovies. Surprisingly the pasta was a miss, ravioli reminded me of a really stuffed prawn wonton with a butter sauce and crab pasta was average and salty, although the cook on the pasta was perfectly al dente, if we went again we would just order entrees.

So good can’t fault it.. food, service and ambience in the cellar were all great. Great value as well for quality food in Sydney. We will be back again and again.

Pellegrino 2000 never disappoints. We were served by Jordan who was extremely helpful and recommended their special goat ragu pappardelle. That ended up being my favourite dish although everything else was just as delicious!

We had another amazing experience, service was great - in particular our waitress. She had dark brown hair but we unfortunately forgot to ask her name. She had served us on new years eve and made our evening just as special!

Great ambience including the bar area. I was there with 2 friends celebrating her birthday. The food was delicious. We shared the raw seafood for entrees so nice, tender with a light lemon oil ( i expect other things too ) dressing. A good starter. We then all had pasta dishes. I had the ravioli with prawns in a beautiful light liquid. So very tasty. We then shared desserts and our la la both the profiteroles and creamy caramel banana was delightful. Would recommend sharing. I found the music a little loud to start with but I must have eased into it. The variety of music brought laughter to us given it was an Italian restaurant ! The service was very good; waiter helpful and alert to our needs without bother . The vales was very good too although I didn't get a chance to see the Beveridge menu. Really recommend this restaurant.

The food was amazing and worth the money! The staff were friendly and quite knowledgeable of everything on the menu and always had great recommendations on what to get! The only negative thing was the time waiting for the food and having to wait a while to get staff to take your order

The wine cellar dining space is a unique gem. Such a joy to be in a atmospheric space that felt like a private dining room. We had one of the most enjoyable meals in a very long time. The food is outstanding overall - no need to single anything out. The service by highly professional staff who have both knowledge and excellent training was refreshing. It's a pity that we only had 2 hours to enjoy this magnificent restaurant. Would have happily paid extra (or a set minimum spend) for expanded dining hours. Much more wine could have been consumed if we had had the time. Not sure why hospitality venues don't have tiered dining limits for those happy to spend much more money dining at a more leisurely pace.

The set menu was a wonderful value, and the food was very tasty from start to finish. French fries accompanying the main dish was odd for an Italian restaurant. The music being played was much too loud and made conversation almost impossible. The front door being open frequently forced us to wear our outdoor jackets to keep warm.
