A great neighborhood spot. The space is casual and warm and the service was attentive yet unassuming. The food was very good and I will definitely be back to try more dishes.

Enjoyed dinner. Nice ambience, great server! The food was great quality and very tasty, though both the appetizer and the pasta dish were a little salty to my taste. One small thing - ordered the orecchiette but the pasta I was served was not orecchiette but small shells. It was still very good.

This place has a relaxed ambience with great food (the orecchiette is delicious) and their cocktails (try the Purple Haze) are spot on. Our server was very attentive.

Connor was awesome!! He recommended some great choices, including the limoncello spritz! They make the limoncello in house! We split pasta and a pizza, I can choose which I liked more!

Excellent food and service! There was not one thing that we ordered (and we ordered ALOT!) that I did not LOVE. We shared everything. Cannot wait to go back there again!

Owner Dave Bonomi, chef Brandon Cordero and the entire staff do a fantastic job taking care of us. The food is outstanding. Peanut Park is our favorite restaurant for pre-Blackhawk games & post White Sox games.

This was one of the best meals we’ve ever had, seriously. The sausage and peppers are amazing. The pasta dishes are incredible. And not too loud, we could actually talk to each other. Our server Abby was so happy and sweet! We’ll be back! Dave Ricordati; 630-854-7676

We were staying in the area and walked over to Little Italy. Frankly, the reviews don’t do it justice. The service was unbelievable…frankly, Abby is not being paid enough. All servers should take lessons from her. A great meal became a truly amazing experience. And the food was delicious!

From being welcomed by the staff to the quality and timing of service to the quality of the food (house salad, Brussels sprouts and angel hair pasta), by the time we left, felt like we were saying, "see you soon" to family. Will be back and highly recommend!

This is a great neighborhood spot with a more modern take on Italian cuisine than you find at many other places in the neighborhood. The service is super friendly and efficient. The food is outstanding, if a little pricey.

Just a fantastic Italian eatery from the people who bring Chicago Coalfire pizza. The owner Dave Bonomi is a first class host who who makes sure his customers get first class service from his very well trained team. Exceptional food served by a top notch team makes this place the best Italian eatery in Chicago and amongst the best overall Restaurant in Chicago.

Really enjoyed this spot. Our server, Emily, was super courteous and just the right amount of attentive. The ambiance is great, the food was fantastic, and service was quick (note, though, that we went in the late afternoon so after the lunch/brunch crowd and before dinner rush). Will definitely be returning.

Everything we ordered was delicious. The waitstaff were very friendly. Everyone made sure we had what we needed. I loved that they gave us clean plates after every thing we ordered The Branzino was out of this world!!

Valentine's day is one of the busiest restaurant nights of the year. This place clearly was not prepared for that. I've worked in the restaurant industry for 10+ years, and I know that everyone has bad days, unforeseen things can happen that derail the quality of service you can provide. For this reason, I would never leave a bad review, especially for a small business, when things are just "off". This is an exception. We showed up for our reservation, were told there were 6 tables ahead of us. No big deal, we grabbed a drink across the street and were notified of our table being available about 40 minutes later. And then things went off the rails in a major way. It took 20 minutes to get our first drink, and another 30 to put in an order. The kitchen was so backed up that we didn't receive our entrees until 1.5 hours after we sat down (truly). We sat with our food in front of us for 10 mins before we could flag someone down to give us silverware and napkins. My food was room temp when it walked. All this taken into account, we were patient, empathized with the team struggling, and were there to enjoy our night out as best we could. The main issue for me was that there were no apologies, no effort made whatsoever to make it right. No drinks comp'd, not even an honest check-in to say that they're a little backed up and it might take a minute. The one thing that would have turned it around slightly for us, is if our server had actually brought out the gelato they said that the chef was sending us as a courtesy. Instead then they dropped the check, no gelato in sight. Just what felt like indifference from a team that was clearly underprepared and possibly overworked. It was a complete meltdown. The food was alright, but I expected better from the team behind Coalfire. And the person who walked in and screamed at the top of their lungs - not the restaurant's fault, but just added to the bad vibes. I'm sorry the evening went so poorly for them.

We came on Valentines Day and it took us over an hour to get our entrees. I understand they were very busy but another table who came after us received their food first. The staff was working their tails off so I understand but over an hour is a long time with no update on the entrees. I had the angel hair which was a tad spicy but pretty good. My husband got the lamb papperdelle and that was absolutely delicious. We also enjoyed the calamari as an appetizer. I had the berry smash mocktail and I wish it was a tad sweeter but my husband enjoyed his cab sauv wine. I’d like to come back and get the papperdelle!

Amanda was amazing. From the walk in greetings to the very end, service was fantastic. For us, this was a nice find thru Open Table. Loved the drinks and many courses. Will recommend to others.

We were treated like family from the time we walked in the door. Our server was great, knowledgeable and patient with us. The pacing of appetizers to dinner was perfect. The owner talked with us, and said thank you to everyone who left the restaurant. In fact, every staff member greeted every customer on the way in and way out. There are so many great dishes to try, you'll have to go more than once. We can't wait to go back. Thank you!

Highly recommend! Food was outstanding, reasonably priced. Server and owner were attentive and friendly. Ambiance is top-notch. Went to dinner before a concert at United Center - about 1.5 miles away.

We started with drinks-great Italian white and a lager. We shared the salad which was huge and stocked with fennel, radicchio, lettuce and Parmesan- yummy. We the split a mushroom, tomato pizza- very good. Another round of drinks to go with the meal. Dinner ended with gelato and coffee. Because we went early, we were there for part of Happy Hour so the meal was really cheap. Service was attentive, but not hovering. Highly recommend it

Frosty Sunday night when nothing else was open - but boy we will sure be back. Everything was delicious: drinks, salad (Chicory Fennel Frisee) pasta, (Italian sausage on orecchiette, fish (branzino), chicken parm, pizza, raspberry sorbet and tiramisu! All fabulous, friendly service, beautiful neighborhood atmosphere. Can only imagine when the doors are open to the neighborhood on a beautiful night.
