We came here to celebrate a late Mother's Day. This is a wonderful restaurant and dinner was delicious! Our server Bryan was more than professional & accommodating with our questions & requests. Our next time visiting this restaurant, we would definitely be requesting Bryan as our waiter again!

The food was delicious. Took way over an hour for food to come out. Watched other tables get food quicker. Manager apologized and gave us free dessert but the whole experience was bad. Will not be back

Was seated outside on cramped patio. EXTREMELY LOUD. had to practically shout to hear across a table for two. Food was very good. But overpriced . Waiter was inattentive and didn’t not follow simple requests. Down right Jude when I showed him that the rim of my beer glass was chipped. He took it off the bill, but I didn’t need his comment/attititude. (“You could have just TOLD Me”). Won’t be back

New specials menu is a nice change. Burrata salad was excellent as was the skirt steak.

Food wasn’t as good as it usually is. Pinwheel sausage app was waaaaay over cooked and dry/burnt. Veal Milanese was outstanding but the Alfredo in my wife’s dish was just ok. Service was very good, but staff should know the difference between ordering a margarita “up” vs delivering straight tequila up. Easy fix. Just a dip in what is normally one of our favorite spots in Red Bank.

On Sunday night (May 5), We arrived at 4:50 for our 5:00 reservation. We were seated fairly quickly, but it took our waiter about 15 minutes to get to us. When he arrived, we told him we had tickets to a show at a local theater and needed to be done with dinner by 6:30. He assured us that wouldn’t be a problem. We immediately ordered our appetizers and entrees along with our drinks in order to expedite the process. The drinks and appetizers came out within 20 minutes, which was more than fine. However, at 6:30 our dinners had not yet arrived. We spoke to the manager who assured us that our dinners would be out shortly.These arrived at 6:35, leaving us 10 minutes to swallow out food, pay the check, and get to the theater. Very stressful and totally unacceptable! In addition, in the same room with us were too large tables, one of which was all children. The parents at the other table ignored their children and the children were running all around the room while yelling at each other. It was so loud we couldn’t speak at a normal volume but also had to yell to be heard. (We did ask to move to another table in a different room but were told there were no tables available). Needless to say, this was a very disappointing experience. We will not be returning to this restaurant any time soon, if ever again.

For a place that tell you you have an hour and fifteen minutes for a table of two, a two and a half hour dining experience is a bit much. Started with three female hosts not knowing where to take us because the table before us ended up being five instead of four so the girl in charge told the other to just take us to the table they had been dead at but we had to wait because they were still sitting there. We got sat, we got bread and olives, we had no silverware. I asked they brought it without the napkins which the silverware was nicely rolled up in every single other table. So then I had to ask for napkins. Our server Tom, although nice, seemed to have gotten triple sat and could not be as attentive to any of us as he should have. The other two tables experiences seemed to be going similarly with the manager having to come speak to one. I begged my partner to come here with me because I love the Ceasar here which was less than stellar last night as well as most of the food we got after waiting VERY LONG for all of it. The check also took very long and a bunch of servers were all hanging out and standing near the planter in their enclosed patio neither offering our server help nor him asking for help. This will most likely have been our last visit here.

Monday evening is half price pizza & pasta. We have visited this restaurant numerous times on Monday evening and always ordered a pasta dish. I tried to order a bolognese dish and change the pasta from pappardelle to rigatoni pasta. The management advised customers can no longer change the prescribed pasta on the menu. I became belligerent and management insisted their position was firm and that they had not allowed a change in pasta in the past. I paid the full price for the pasta, and will never return to this restaurant. It is unfortunate that a change in pasta caused a terrible scene for all!!!!

Service was not as good as usual. Waited 30 minutes for our table which was unusual for here. Food was good but came out like warm. Must have been sitting awhile before bringing brought to the table.

There is a reason there are reservations available here! The noise level is unbearable and the food was subpar. We waited 25 minutes to be seated, ironic since we were told our credit card would be charged if we were 20 minutes late. The kicker- the food on our bill was higher than prices in the menu. Go elsewhere!

Matt thanks for the feedback and your business. We do our best to seat reservations at exact time but do have delays at times. As for prices being different, this is news to me. Our website/menu have identical pricing. I will definitely look into this. Hopefully your next visit is a better one.

we had a reservation and they kept us waiting for 50 minutes, the food was not that great , nothing special, you can get it anywhere at any pizzeria, very expensive and really not worth it. Our server tried her best since we waited 50 minutes standing in the hallway I do not recommend

Had dinner last night. Food was awful. 4 people. Appetizers came out randomly..last one after everyone else was done. Entrée's a little better timing not much. Shrimp Gnocchi special arrived last..shrimp not cooked Gnocchi pure mush balls...linguine and white clam dish..barely any clams and linguine barely cooked...I ate one shrimp almost gagged...interesting when clearing table no one even asked why full dish was left. Lessons learned...

Sorry to hear this. Not sure why this happened. We do have longer plate intervals when busy but always try to deliver courses together. Had small birthday party at Pazzo. We sat on the covered patio. It was very nice. John was our waiter. He was excellent and very nice. He was attentive to out every need. They didn't rush us out of the restaurant. It was great

The food is good, but very overpriced. As an example, one slice of chocolate cake was $14.00! It wasn’t even a large piece.

The service was absolutely terrible and our food took over an hour to be delivered. We wind up having to eat in 10 minutes because of the delay. I ordered the filet mignon and it was so dry, overcooked and not tender at all. It was clearly sitting under a heat lamp for a long period of time. The server gave no explanation and was unapologetic about the delays and subpar food.

This was my first time at Pazzo… while waiting for my table two other parties were seated and then they came back because they messed up their seats. Then my table was taking by another couple. The food was delicious but the service was unacceptable

Second time here and another great time - great ambience, attentive service - mussels and beat salad were very fresh, mains pizza, seafood risotto and halibut were fresh and tasted great - great Italian Red Bank option

Our party of 8 really enjoyed Pazzo. Decided on pizza and a variety of salads. And finished with a nutella pizza. Everyone enjoyed it.

Very enjoyable dining experience before our show at Count Basie. Our meals were delicious; chicken piccata and the sea bass w/ clams and muscles. Our server, Kat, was awesome.

Dinner with our friends was so much fun. The food was delicious and drinks tasty. They sang for my husband’s birthday and made it a special event.

I have been dining at Pazzo for the last 10 years. I wonder if Frank is still the owner because everything is different. Our waitress was cold and robotic. She came over three times, asking us to order drinks when we told her the first time we were waiting for our friend who was parking in the garage lot. While we were eating our entrées, the bus boy came over and asked us if we were finished with our dinner, while we clearly were still holding our knives and forks, and our plates were half full, he was actually reaching for our plates. I understand the rushing of turning tables, and that's how restaurants make money. But they don't make money by rushing patrons through their dinners. Also, the food was mediocre. My friend had the gnocchi and scallops, the gnocchi was soft and droopy. I had the chicken saltimbocca, the chicken was so grainy and hard to cut, the chef forgot to put the prosciutto on under the mozzarella, and the amount of spinach could have fit in the palm of a babies hand. To say I was disappointed and embarrassed, because my friends have never been there before, and I always brag about Pazzo. NEVER AGAIN!! in the ladies bathroom, there are only two toilets., one toilet was completely backed up so there was a line of five women for one toilet. There was no antibacterial soap in either dispenser and there was a stack of single five paper towels laying on the wet counter.

Extremely sorry to hear this. We have been in business for over 14 years due to our consistency in all areas ( food, service, atmosphere and more). This feedback is over the top to comprehend. I will assure you that I do not accept this and will look into this. We have entertained tens of thousands of super satisfied guests over the years. We will do better.

This was a new find for us. Parking right next door, delicious food and wine, friendly staff, and a very short walk to the theatre.

Waiter started out the experience by informing us that the restaurant was short on staff and asked us to order our entire course all at once for his convenience and that no menu substitutions or exclusions would be accepted. The entrees cost us $35-$45 per entree. I found a worm in my flounder franchaise, though can be common with fish like flounder, I suggest asking them to cook their fish very thoroughly. Because there is little to no street parking, we had to pay to park in an attached garage. Heads up, the restaurant does not validate.

Sorry to hear this. Not sure why my waiter would talk about staffing. We do require guests to put the full order in at the same time so our kitchen can produce in a timely and systematic manner. I will speak with my chef regarding the flounder special. The attached parking garage is owned by the landlord. We have nothing to do with it. There is a dollar charge per hour. Red Bank street parking is limited so it is very convenient for our guests. We will do better on your next visit.
