Last minute decision. Good choice. Always consistent. Hamburger was good. Not exceptional nor would I have it again. Enjoyed the crab cake. And a wide range of cocktails which I greatly appreciate. The service was good. Nothing noteworthy. It did bother me that from my vantage point I could hear two of the servers, both men and not young pups so they should have been more professional and not have spoken of a guest that just left.

We love Paul Martin's in Roseville. It is easy to reserve a table on Open Table, and the food and service is always good. Keep up the good work. It's appreciated!

When I checked in the hostess couldn't find my reservation or at least made it look like she found that she had given my table to another couple because the name was similar.

Paul Martin’s is a place we regularly dine. Good food, good ambience, great service. Chris helped us last night and made our little celebration a lovely experience.

Went for a Saturday brunch and shared the omelet that came with potatoes, fresh fruit and a cheddar biscuit. Everything was great except that the potatoes were loaded with hot sauce even though the menu did not state this. I had indigestion the rest of the day. Steven was our waiter and he was terrific!

We really enjoyed the patio dining experience. Our server, Tim, took great care of us. The happy hour menu is a great value, and we went with those delicious offerings. But we couldn’t leave without having the Butter Cake dessert. And you shouldn’t either!

Food was great. The only negative is the server forgot it was my wife’s birthday and did not advise us on the specials.

Paul Martins is a favorite for us! Wonderful food and service! Loved the short ribs and the devil eggs, spinach & artichoke dip…so good! My friend loved the salmon tacos and the butter cake! It was a great lunch!

Wife had prime rib. Delicious. I had New York steak. It was cooked medium rare and they did a pretty good job. Meat was a little tough. I’ve been able to bbq better New York steak myself.

We ordered calamari which was overcooked and tough as was the chicken. I ordered the snapper and got a bottom cut making the portion very thin and small. The service was great however I doubt that I will be back.

Overall, not a great experience. Asked for an ADA friendly table without a step up and of course they seated us at a table with a step up. Very little room to navigate in the restaurant if you have a cane or a walker. Everyone’s food was marginal and it certainly didn’t justify the price. Service was adequate albeit a little slow. Wouldn’t hurry back.

Great experience! Our server was amazing, she went above and beyond. She knew we were celebrating and made sure she did everything she could to make it special! Service was fast, food was good. Sone of the prime rib cuts we received were really fatty, but I don’t know how they could manage that.

We had another great experience at Paul Martin's on Easter Sunday. Anna, our server, was quick and attentive. Food was delicious and staff was helpful! We will be back!

We haven't been here since pre-pandemic and after today's experience, we will not be returning. Our server was not very attentive. We saw her 3 times, when she took our drink order, entrees, and at the end of the meal. No appetizer plates were provided. The manager dropped off our food. She didn't check up on us to see how we were doing nor to ask if we needed anything else, i.e. refill drinks, etc. I guess I am just used to friendlier servers who are more attentive. As for our food, the caesar salad was soaked in dressing, the halibut was tasteless, cold and overcooked, and the short rib was just ok. The only thing we liked were the biscuits. I did not feel very 'welcome'. I was extremely disappointed, especially since this was our Easter meal.

Service was slow and incorrect. They got two orders wrong. Whatever you do don’t order the avocado toast. It isn’t put together. There was maybe a 1:3 of and avocado and dry toast pieces to put together. All for 19 dollars. Very disappointing Easter Brunch. Also our drinks and water were never refilled. Not sure what happened to service here.

Very expensive for the quality of the food and overall experience. Just throwing a couple of sticks of asparagus as a bed for for the meal does not elevate the plate. The flavor of the food was very mediocre. Can't imagine the kitchen and management take much pride in what they offer. The only positive were the mixed drinks. I can't imagine that will go back.

Salt and Pepper shrimp appetizer was delicious. I ordered Asian Chicken Noodle Salad. It was drowning in dressing and chicken was tough and tasted old. I waited for server to come back to check on us but didn't come back for a while. I ate the noodles and greens, spit out the chicken. I had my boyfriend taste the chicken and said the same thing. She finally came back to see how everything was and I told her. I showed her the bowl with uneaten chicken. She said she would show it to the chef, said she was sorry and asked if I wanted something else. I ate part of my bf's halibut, which was delicious and we were done. I would have expected more of an apology maybe the manager comes or at least take partial $$ off the bill. Not so...not sure if I'll go back to one of our favorite places.

We try to visit Paul Martin’s American Bistro once a month or so… The personnel there are the best-including Joey, the manager, and Kevin, the assistant manager… They always come to our table and talk to us. They are always so friendly, professional, and caring. Our server, Courtney. was extremely friendly and attentive… She enhanced the meal. The cheddar biscuits and deviled eggs were delicious…we also enjoyed the ribs and sweet potato fries. It’s obvious the employees at this restaurant get along well, and it shows in their service and food quality

Was disappointed haven’t eaten here for a while and thought the food would be better. Looking at a Saturday night, lots of people in house not doing bad. Had the burger, very dry, lukewarm fries, wife had French dip, supposed Cajun fries,mushroom soup and ahi lettuce cups, very blah, over priced for what you got!

My wife and I had the filet meal with asparagus and shrimp and a salad.was delish.shrimp and steak were to spicy hot for us Manager came over and they made is right.would definitely come back again.the apple pie was to die for.be back soon.thanks again.

Fabulous dinner. Filet and Scampi special. Great value. Also had the spinach and Artichoke dip. Loved it all. Especially our server Rose, who was outstanding.

Food is always consistently good. would have given it a 5 but my sandwich was a bit soppy and messy. tasted great but if I were on a date I would have been mortified at how sticky my fingers were. Delicious - just messy.

We have been to Paul Martin’s on multiple occasions. The food is consistently good, but both my husband and I stated that our meals last night were the best we have had there. Our server Linsey was outstanding. She is friendly and attentive to our needs. We look forward to returning.

Always one of our favorite restaurants, when I made our reservation for 2 I requested a booth as I always do, we arrived on time and when they went to seat us they tried to put us at an open table by the back door, when I told the hostess I specifically requested a booth she developed an attitude and made us wait while she took care of other people. The restaurant was not busy and there was at least 5-6 open booths so why try to seat us by the back door. Got our booth and had a nice dinner but think the customer service could be a lot better

Timing of food delivery to table was very off. Appetizer was brought with salad course. 2 entree’s were delivered and the remaining 2 entrees didn’t come out for about 5 minutes. Not acceptable.

We love this place and enjoy bringing new folks here however this must of just been an off night?? We came with 2 new friends. We ordered drinks: My Martini with twist showed up with olives..... No big deal, I mentioned it to the manager passing and expected a new martini- I mean olives already in the glass is not going to go with a twist! Its tastes VERY different. He comes back with a lemon twist on a napkin for me, I guess to add to my drink with olives????? Yikes. The food this time was mediocre. Our poor server (she was great) was slammed but we were in no rush and very patient. Disappointed our patience couldn't of been rewarded with better service- in particular from the manager. We had 2 blah drinks and okay food. Again, this is not their regular experience. Hoping for better lucky next time.
