This new Italian eatery features a casual homey décor and cozy setting that sits 75 and is located in Union Square in Manhattan. The name Pasta Eater is a straight forward recall to the fact that the restaurant strictly serves authentic Italian, freshly-made pasta on the spot or to-go, as well as other genuine products such as focaccia, salads and earth and sea antipasti all made fresh on the premises. The drink menu offers wines from Italy, a full cocktail bar, as well as imported beers.

Pasta Eater is owned and headed by Chef Giusto Priola. Giusto started his career as a restaurateur with the opening of the wildly successful “Cacio e Pepe”, he was the first to bring the renowned Cacio e Pepe pasta to the NYC tables. The restaurant is located in the heart of Union Square and its secret weapon is its all-freshly-made pasta menu: a pasta maker will be continuously rolling their pin throughout the day in front of the restaurant’s guests.

We LOVED our lunch at Pasta Eater! The food was delicious, fresh, made at the window so you could watch the process, and the staff very attentive. We will definitely return.

We were created wide away and got a table. However, the food was not the greatest. It was Luke warm when it got to our table.

I had the Arancina that was very good and then moved on to the signature Pasta Giusto, Tagliatelle prepared and served in a wheel of parmigiano & topped with crispy prosciutto that was very rich and amazing. I will definitely be back!

Service was great, everyone very friendly. Great drinks and food. Fairly small space so make a reservation. We had the rigatoni vodka which was very good. Caesar salad had good flavor but too many stems for the lettuce. I would prefer a different lettuce choice.

Wonderful service and very friendly staff. Fresh pasta and the food came out quickly. Thanks for the baby size cannoli it’s was very tasty.

I had lunch with a friend at 12:15 on a weekday and it couldn't have been a better experience. The atmosphere was perfect -quiet enough to chat but still lively. The chicken panini was delicious and my friend had pasta. We both were silent as we ate because it was so yummy. Our server was kind and professional and I will definitely be back again soon. Thank you!

This is one of my favorite restaurants for fresh homemade pasta and they have the best charcuterie plate in the city. Despite ordering the large meat and cheese plate 4 separate times!!! The waitress still wouldn’t put the order in! We waited an hour and it never came which was the whole reason we wanted to come here. Needless to say we never received it nor were we offered to take one home. Point being I am not sure if this lady was new or not but you should not have people train on a prime time friday or saturday night. Or if you dont understand something ask your manager or a fellow employee instead of making me get up 4 times… order the same thing… and never get the item which is wild.

Fantastic meal and our 2nd time going. I had their specialty pasta made in the cheese wheel. Delicious! Yummy cocktails, too.
