It was very over priced for the options. It also had a forced gratuity on the preset menu which caused the servers to have less urgency. I also witnessed several guests departing once they learned the price.

The food was good, the main issue was the false advertising. We booked a reservation here for the Mother’s Day brunch. The website said the brunch was $59.99, which seemed high but we still went through with it. When we arrived, we were told brunch was $89.99 and that the website was wrong. They did not honor the website price although they acknowledged the mistake was on their end.

Was expecting expecting to order from menu not expecting to pay $69 for a buffet with no warning when reservation was made food very overpriced maybe $39 due to mother day and that’s being generous won’t be back

I made reservations for the Mother’s Day brunch initially for 6 people. Then restaurant changed the party size to 4, and I was unable to reach anyone to discuss this update, but it ended up not being an issue since two people in my party couldn’t make it. Then the day before they sent a confirmation for a party size of 8. I sent a message via open table alerting them only 4 people would be attending since again once again I couldn’t reach anyone on the reservation line. We arrived at the restaurant having to explain the error again, and our smaller party size was able to be seated without any difficulty. There were a variety of breakfast and lunch food options, omelet, pasta, waffle and chocolate fondue stations with coffee, soda, and tea included in the price as well as gratuity, which was paid before dining. They had a DJ and a photo center, which were both great additions to the experience. Unfortunately, I don’t believe the buffet was worth approximately $80/per person with the basic protein options of fried and baked chicken, bacon, and turkey sausage. I expected to see prime rib, shrimp, fish, and ham as options as well at that price point. I may possibly return to the restaurant in the future for a plated meal, but I certainly won’t be attending a buffet event again unless there is a significant adjustment to the menu or the price.

I always enjoy dining at Paschals. Took my Mom for Mothers Day brunch and the music and food was excellent and it was priced too high

The food is very good. Someone in that kitchen definitely knows what they’re doing, so props there. But, in my opinion, there is only one thing that can completely ruin an experience with good food and that is bad service. Now don’t get me wrong, I’m not talking about the typical slightly poor service, this service was HORRIBLE! We got there and were seated promptly and thought things were off to a good start. Yes, that is what we thought until 20 minutes later and we still have no drinks! There wasn’t a beverage napkin on the table and no one had greeted us. We were certain at this point that we had been forgotten or that perhaps there was a mix up and there was no server assigned to our section. So, a member of our party went to the hostess stand to ask for our server. The hostess who was sitting behind the stand took a brief pause from her very engaging conversation with a host seated beside her and said “she’s coming, give her a minute.” and quickly proceeded to finish her conversation. We all thought “ we’ve already given her 20 minutes, and you’re asking us to giver her 1 more? Ok.” About 10 minutes later, a manager happened to be approaching the hostess stand, so, a member of our party walked up to him and asked for assistance. He said ok, went to the back and about 5 to 10 minutes later, came back to the front to take our order himself. After placing our order we waited at least 15 minutes before getting our drinks and that is no exaggeration. To make a very long and miserable story that is full of thirst and grave hunger short, we got our food about 45 minutes after ordering. This story ends with a server, whom we met about 45 minutes after being seated, but was pretty nice at first, getting an attitude and walking away after a misunderstanding about the check. Once again, the food was good, but the excessive amount of time spent in this place, coupled with the poor treatment, does not make it worth it at all to dine here again.

An Atlanta Historical Landmark & Restaurant , with a Delicious Fine Dining / Traditional Southern Style menu , combined with a Fully Stocked Bar and a variety of choice wines , beers , and appetizers for every taste . We went to Paschals to celebrate my husband for his 55th birthday. We had family come in from NY to surprise him. The original reservation was for four people but my son and daughter in law decided to join us. Our server Mesai was very accommodating and moved us to a larger table. We were not disappointed. And in the words of my husband the food was banging.

On a recent trip to ATL, with my Canadian colleague, I insisted she try some good southern cooking and soul food. After perusing a variety of restaurants we landed here on a Tuesday late afternoon. It was not that busy, lots of staff standing around. Not sure if this is a newer restaurant in terms of location (I know the backstory and it has been around for decades) and that is why things felt disjointed. Our server took about 10 minutes to even come to our table. We ordered some basic (non bar) drinks. Water and a ginger ale. I was disappointed that the entire time we were there the staff never came to refill the waters as I chug through at least 2-3 glasses when dining. The food was GOOD. I ordered the fried chicken platter, my sides being brussels and mashed potatoes. I will say that the brussels were DELISH, and the Fried Chicken was excellent. Moist and juicy with just the right amount of 'fry' to it. Seemed to be the same coating/batter they use for the fried green tomatoes. Saved some room for the famous peach cobbler which was good, but did not knock my socks off or anything. I loved watching the robots deliver the food to the tables. Very cool, and nice that servers are not having to run back and forth however it seemed like they did not utilize that time to ensure their tables had refilled water or my colleague wanted another ginger ale but never got the opportunity to order one. Food was good - service was good balanced between things that went well and opportunities.

Food was excellent and better than I’d hoped it would be. Cocktails were delicious, we loved the catfish, shrimp and grits and all 4 sides we sampled. The peach cobbler was likely the best I’d ever eaten. Service was “meh”. Our server never cracked a smile, we tried to engage her, joke with her, nada. She barely made eye contact, faced away when talking so we couldn’t hear her, got irritated when we tried to pay with cash by pointing out “it says it right there”… we were first timers and were overwhelmed by the menu and didn’t see fine print that tip was included and it is a cashless restaurant. Not a problem, we had a card. I’d love to return for the food and hopefully get a happier server.

Some of the tastiest fried chicken we'd ever had! There was a mix-up with one of the sides and a drink order, but the quality of the food, friendliness of the staff, and chill atmosphere steeped in history made up for the little issues. Choose the chicken parts you like best and get ready to enjoy, with delicious sides to go with.

Food was good, service was OK, prepaid tip takes away desire to please customer, noise was pretty load, it was Sunday afternoon. Overall I would probably go there again, but would have to think about it. Also valet parking is a negative.

Def not up to expectations. Food was bland. One childrens meal was forgotten creating a delay for an impatient toddler. Shrimp sandwiches lacked any zest. Crab cakes mediocre. As a group of five our expectations were not met

We stopped here for lunch to wrap up our trip to Atlanta. Best decision. We had the catfish, fried chicken (dark and white meat), shrimp, yams, Mac and cheese, collards, corn bread and peach cobbler to end. Everything was perfect. Our waitress, Tory, was so sweet and attentive and helpful & the robot that brings out the plates was pretty cool.

Everything was exceptional. Kenny and his team really did a great job in accommodating my family. We had nine people, and they did a great job setting the table and everybody was very kind and considerate and the food was good. It was really great. I would like more desserts in terms of like poundcake or chocolate cake or something like that but other than that oh and ice cream, but other than that, everything was fantastic no problems.

We hadn’t been to Paschal’s in about 6 years and it was even better than the last time. We can’t believe hadn’t been sooner since the last time. The food was excellent and we love the cornbread, fried green tomatoes, and candied yams. I also got the fried catfish and it was seasoned perfectly!

Service and food were great. The only complaint that we had was the need to reserve a table. When we showed up for our reservation there were more than half of the tables that were empty. We suspect that the limiting of how many patrons to serve may be due to staffing matters. If so, it would be great for the public to know this so that patrons don’t try to walk-in to the restaurant and be turned away.

While the food was amazing, the service was tolerable at best. From checking into our reservation to just getting our drinks, it took a lot of time. Our party was put into a back room & I felt like they almost forgot about our small group who spend over $600 for the entire meal. I’m not sure if service men & women just don’t care anymore or they don’t think they have to because their establishment has been in business for 80 years. But let me say, once it was almost closing time, things sped along quickly.

They were out of Lamb chops and oxtail. It was my son’s birthday and I specifically came for lamb chops. The shrimp and grits was not appealing. It looked like etoufee. Everyone was nice but disappointed on food option not being available and I was told since the day before.

Arrived with a couple open table reservations for a semi large group (27)- we split up to separate tables as paying customers- 4 tables of 8 we booked. The manager at the end of the night was very upset with our group and told my client that we should not have booked open table reservations. They also told my client they were holding up other guests when they had a line. As paying customers, this is beyond ridiculous and the hospitality is a 0. I will not suggest this restaurant to any other traveler in the future.

This is the 2nd time in a month that I have been to Paschal’s. The food is delectable. The servers are attentive and accommodating and it is overall a great experience. We have had the fried chicken plate and the baked chicken plate and the blackened catfish plate. All of the sides are delicious. The peach cobbler is hands down the best dessert. Love it and we are making it a regular going forward even though we live over 20 miles away.
