    Food was absolutely awesome. We arrrived at 1:30, was seated pretty promptly. Server took a minute to get to our table and acknowledge us. Placed drink and appetizer order. Drinks areoved pretty promptly. Appetizer finally arrived 20min later. The time between out appetizers and food being delivered was almost 45 min. Once our food arrived 2:45ish another guest ordered to go food. Did I say food was awesome and good!! We finished our food, to go order did not make it ot our table until 4:10!!! After the waitress kinda dodging our table, no eye contact no, Im pushing foe the food. The manager finally came over, that wasnt much better!!! The service was just so subpar. If it wasnt for the food being, the DJ playing music we could jam too that helped distract us, all of my stars would be zero. I dont wanna here we are short staffed. No restaurants are discounting food or giving it away free because you dont have enough staff. Every where is short staffed that doesn’t mean guest have to settle gor subpar service because you choose to open your doors and allow guest to dine at your premises. Please try and do better because the food is consistent but the service could be ssssoooo much better

    Had not been since the pandemic. Not at all what I expected. My expectations were for delicious soul food. That it was not! It was ok "I expected so much better".

    Excellent service and totally awesome food. Fried chicken wings, collard greens and black eyed peas was the meal of the day.

    “10 out of 10 recommend.” Everything was delivered timely, hot, fresh, and delicious. No complaints from the entire party of 5. I highly recommend the entire menu. Don’t hold on the “sweet potato cake” and “peach cobbler with vanilla ice cream” It’s glory!

    Always a favorite of ours. Yams were a little burnt. Not usual. The server had a visible attitude as if we were annoying her. Didn’t expect that at all.

    With the OpenTable reservation we were promptly seated. We were able to converse easily while waiting for our server and our food. Our server arrived shortly after we were seated. The food was well prepared as we ordered. Our server was appropriately attentive.

    Our students absolutely loved the food! We were visiting from Salt Lake City and for some of them, this was their first experience with Soul Food. Unfortunately, there was another large party which made our service a bit delayed. However, the students were fascinated by the robots bringing out food and we made the best out of the situation.

    Paschal's was pretty disappointing. The first disappointment was that we were a party of four and they would not seat us at a table until all four of us were there, despite there being open tables. So we were forced to have drinks at the bar until all four arrived. Next, many have commented on the slow service and that remains true. Servers are nice but service is VERY slow. Third and most importantly, the food was disappointing. I ordered a fried chicken sandwich only to discover it is not a sandwich at all. Yes, there is bread, lettuce, tomato and onion. But the fried chicken was an entire thigh, bones and all. There was no way to eat it as a sandwich. And even worse, the chicken was a bit overcooked and kind of dry. Finally, I ordered fries because they were out of the mac and cheese side. I like to eat fries with mayo but the mayo provided was not real mayo but rather Miracle Whip or some other poor facsimile of mayo that I ultimately found inedible. All in all, a pretty disappointing experience. There are so many other better restaurants in Atlanta, I would choose one of them.
