Opted for a house side salad instead of fries — why it tasted like fish and had an odor I don’t know — couldn’t enjoy my sandwich with that taste in my mouth. I should’ve sent it back. My waiter made us feel uneasy too, so intense, crack a smile dude you work in service. They use those point of sale devices where you have to tip while they hold it front of you. This place is always packed so maybe it was an off day .. but don’t think I’d try again.

There was a discrepancy in pricing between what the menu says vs what the bill said. I pointed it out to our waiter who, incorrectly, said there was an upcharge for topping (menu said otherwise). We paid and at the front, I asked the hostess to look at a menu, and confirmed we were correct. Her response when I told her the interaction with the waiter and that we paid about $10 more than we should have (incorrect charge on three identical meals, plus tax and tip on that higher amount) was, “I understand.” Not looking for sympathy here! Only when my hand was on the exit door did she ask if I wanted to speak to a manager. Poorly handled. Future diners beware— apparently the restaurant can charge whatever they like.
