Panini Grill was founded by three brothers from Italy, eager to open an Italian family style restaurant in America.

We wanted a traditional family atmosphere, Trattoria or neighborhood place that offers large portions and a variety of homemade, home-style cooking, just like my Mamma used to make. "WERE MORE THAN JUST PANINI'S"

We drive almost 2 hours and loved everything! Would definitely consider coming back! Tried a few different items, and the Staten Island Panini was amazing! All of the servers were so accommodating! Looking forward to seeing your next video!

RUN … don’t walk to this fabulous place ! Discovered Peter on social media and decided that was where I wanted to celebrate my birthday. So over the bridge for NJ we went and OMG! The food is nothing short of outstanding.. each dish creatively designed and bursting with flavor . Such a fun atmosphere.. live singer… everyone just having a great time ..! As soon as you are seated you are served the lightest fluffiest warm ciabatta bread ever. The Italian nachos and burrata tower were just over the top . We had 3 of the pasta dishes and each one was outstanding! The halibut special was indeed that … and the spinach mashed potatoes… so creamy and just delish ! Thank you Peter and team for an amazing evening.. we will be back for sure ❤️❤️❤️

Outdoor garden seating was terrific. Super friendly knowledgeable staff .. Ashley our server was amazing…. Price fixe menu on Wednesdays is a perfect sample of the passion and dedication of a dedicated brilliant creative true chef

Gennaro was an excellent waiter. He was attentive and also suggested entrees. The food was excellent and delicious. The menu had many choices. We will definitely be back.

My most recent experience at Panini Grill: Well, there were 6 of us and we tasted a lot of each other’s food and here’s what I can I tell you: The Romeo & Juliet pizza is FANTASTIC! We all raved about it! The pesto gnocchi were perfectly made and seasoned; soft, light, fluffy— seriously better than my Mom used to make. The mozzarella in carrozza came out with this cooked tomato topping. It wasn’t a plain red sauce. I had a bite bc my friend said I had to try it and it was so good I almost ordered one for my husband and I — next time, for sure! The cacio e pepe —my friend’s husband gets all the time bc he loves it. The spicy calamari special everyone said was excellent. I had shrimp francese over spaghetti and it was so good. But I was so full I couldn’t finish it. The panini that were ordered were so big that less than half was eaten (of course left overs were taken to go) Baked clams were had by most and polished off, as usual I’m sure there was more but I can’t remember everything— oh, their coffee is excellent and I had their Tiramisu— my suggestion— please trust me on this— is if you order it (and yes, I definitely recommend) is to tell the server NOT to put chocolate chips— the chocolate chips take away from the correct texture and overpower the delicate flavors meant to be experienced when eating Tiramisu. If anyone wants added chocolate flavor, they can squeeze “lines” of chocolate sauce (but it’s not needed at all). It’s a great dessert that is huge and if you can’t finish it — take it home, pop it in the fridge & enjoy it the next day bc it’ll taste even better. I’m trying to be as honest as possible so you know my reviews are legit and my praise of this place isn’t for any other reason than that it has good food, good vibes and good service. Idk what else anyone could ask for. Go for yourself! Did I mention the octopus? I hate octopus and it was TDF! Like a last meal request! We all look forward to going back. So, I had to try this after I seen a post on FB. I learned the owner of Panini Grill is a guy who I been seeing in the gym circuit for over 20 years. I had no idea he was the owner. Anyway, my wife and I had a great experience, and we both agreed it’s our top restaurant in Staten Island. Being from Brooklyn a good part of my life, I could honestly say it tops lots of the restaurants I frequent. Nicole was our server, and could not ask for better. Cordial, attentive and a hard worker…she started it off in excellence. The food was outstanding. You can see, and taste the ingredients were both fresh and top notch. Where else on SI can you get great food, great service, great prices (although I do not agree with the credit card surcharge) and large portions. I cannot say enough about Panini Grill. Anyone reading this in the Tri State area absolutely must give this a try. There is plenty of parking and they had valet service as well. Even the valet guy was nice. The only downside it’s a little loud, but it’s probably more me than anyone else…now that I’m older, noise just bothers me. 😂😂 Please take my recommendation and eat here or have a party in the room in the rear of the restaurant. I will guarantee you will not be disappointed.

First time dining here but certainly not the last. Nicole, our server is wonderful and made sure we are taken care of even on a very busy Friday night.
