Christopher our server had personality and was professionally appropriate. He made excellent recommendations. Everything our table had was delicious. Jamaican Beef Patties delightful. Lamb tender and seasoned perfectly. Pasta flavorful and cooked al dente. Bayou is a creole classic but with a Pangea twist. I was hoping for live music on this Wednesday but that didn't happen.

Overall it was great food was great had great flavor drinks were on point and strong . The waitress was wonder the only thing I would complain about was the food took about a hour & a half to get other than that I’ll go back .

Overall, Pangea is good. Pangea would be really great place if service was better. Drinks are brought out super fast but tends to be a super long wait for appetizers and food. Waitstaff is ok…I’ve been a few times and they can be hit or miss with friendliness and attentiveness.

The customer service wasn’t up to par at all. We were seated and no one served or even spoke to us for 30 mins. The food took an hour to come out. The DJ was a sweetheart. I encourage anyone to try for themselves, but I will not be returning.

Food was delicious and menu items look intriguing. I would return to try the food, except service was really spotty and prices were inflated. Wine was delivered after meal was nearly finished. Didn't ask for drink refills, appetizers or dessert! The check would have been $100 more if we were given some attention. Prices are very high for the lack of ambience and level of service. No wine list. No tablecloths. Just bare wooden tables. Much of the restaurant looks like an event hall or cafeteria. I had to place a bar order three times before they could make a drink, even though each time I was told they could make it! No Dewar's for a Rob Roy or suitable Scotch substitute (the waitress suggested bourbon! And no Campari for a Negroni. Incredibly loud. We couldn't hear each other. Lights kept dimming and coming on brighter. Chef seems talented, although one diner said their pork chop was dry. It is a shame that the rest of the restaurant interferes with enjoying the food. They don't have their act together. Valet parking and long wait, despite being in an apartment complex, no self-parking spaces. Restrooms were clean, but paper towel dispensers didn't work! It was like no one cared or paid attention to the front of the house.

The restaurant isn't the quality it once was. It is turning into an overpriced hangout environment versus a quality restaurant. Overly salty food with very slow service and music so loud you can't hear the person next to you. For the money spent you are better off going to a quality Dallas Steakhouse.

My first time eating there for dinner, everything was great! The service was excellent. Our waitress, Ashley was fantastic! Definitely recommend.

I ordered chicken and waffles as well as the scampi shrimp pizza, a couple of drinks and it was really good. The waitress Ashley was very nice and at the end, a photographer asked if he could take my picture, which I happily agreed to do. 10/10 experience. Worth the hype.

We found this place on tik tok and wanted to try it out so for dinner on Saturday night it was fairly busy we got there around 9:30 and didn’t get our food until 10:45: The service was really bad and the food was terrible. I got the steak and the lobster and shrimp with mashed potatoes. The steak was not seasoned and the mashed potatoes was bland. The owner did come by and apologize and comped some of the meals that we got but still we won’t be back not worth the hype !

The stuffed salmon is to die for!! Crab and shrimp dip is a must!! For drinks I ordered the gummy bear martini and pink goddess. I’m overly satisfied with everything. Only con was everything took forever but it was well worth the wait !!

The food was exceptional. The lamb was tender and flavorful, jalapeño grits were good. Brussel sprouts had amazing flavor. Drinks were good and strong. Definitely worth the money.

Overall, we had an amazing experience. The food was amazing!!! The mac and cheese was some of the best I’ve ever had. The food took a little longer than I was expecting (ex. About 20 mins for an appetizer from the time of ordering to it hitting the table), so plan to be there for a minimum of two hours for apps, meals, and dessert. Overall, even with the waiting it was a truly amazing experience. The food is worth it.

My friend and I met up here for dinner at 6 PM. Shortly after getting there a woman came up to me and my friend ask him to take photos of us and we hesitantly agreed to the photos. Not long after that another woman came back with printed framed photos of us I guess trying to sell them to us. Neither of us were interested in buying the photos. It felt really weird for this to be occurring at dinner, it gave off more like a club vibe. I ordered the crab and chicken pasta. The flavor was lacking - The dish was heavily flavored with garlic and I love garlic, but this did not taste like fresh garlic. More like minced garlic from a jar. The dish was lacking salt or acidity. It felt very flat and the chicken was nearly unseasoned. I used to love eating here but the care for the food does not seem to be there anymore and it is overpriced for what you get. Also the bathroom was filthy.

I have eaten at Pangea several other times and felt the quality and amount was priced okay. This last visit I ordered Shrimp and Grits for $35 and was okay with the price except you gave me 3 full shrimps and the other 4 to 5 shrimps was just the tail of the shrimp buried in the grits not a good look Pangea. The noise level was extremely high which did not make for a pleasant dining experience. This unfortunately was my last visit to Pangea. Also the green cloth seating in the center is dated and has stains on the seats.

This is my second visit and I was not happy with the ox tail and grits. The other dishes I had were outstanding and I will be back.

The food was tasted wonderful and was plated nicely. The drinks were affordable and strong which is rare these days. Our server was so friendly and gave great recommendations. The restaurant had a nice vibe with classic 2000s r&b music playing when we visited. I will be returning the next time I am in the area.

My experience was unforgettable. Great service. Great tables could use a little bit of light refreshing. Great music, , customer service impeccable. I would definitely recommend and I would dine again. My guest made it worth every moment

I was actually pretty disappointed. There were gnats everywhere, the bar wasn't clean, the walls were nasty, and the restrooms weren't clean. My friends and I sat at the bar, where surprisingly we received inattentive service. We each ordered a cocktail, never offered refills, the bartender didn't even check in with us until we requested our check. The food took a little over 35 minutes to come out, despite us being there on a Thursday night when the restaurant was not busy. Our group ordered crab cake, greens, mac and cheese and a cheeseburger and fries. The fries were cold (in which came out cold). They did send the fries back for fresh ones, but the fresh ones didn't come out for another 10/15 minutes. The greens were really meaty, the mac and cheese was tasty but greasy. I was just overall disappointed with my experience there.

This review is only from my experience. Drove nearly hour n half to this place for birthday dinner. Was not worth it in my opinion. I was happy they had our reservation in the system. Then it was nearly 30 min for first drink to come. Another 15 min or so for my drink. Waitress said they ran out of clean glasses. Sign by door said max occupancy 256. It looked about 80-90 ppl inside. Ran out of glasses??? Then it took about 40 min or so to get our food. Food was hot at least. I ordered blackened catfish. Wasn't impressed. However, I don't think quality of the food is the goal. This is one of those places for food art. All the fancy trimmings and sauce. They a good drink menu. Leaving, I had issue with how valet crammed cars so tight that I was partially blocked in. I had to maneuver getting out of my spot and before I could get out, valet nearly hit me trying to back up into the spot I was leaving. Couldn't give me time to around 3 closely parked cars. It's nice they have a picture taking crew that make pictures for like $25 a pic and they put them in frames for you. Wish they would take the pics when you don't have empty plates and drinks. It is what it is. Not a place I would recommend anyone to.

We heard the food is hot and miss and we agree. The food quality has went down. The cocktails were good, but the food was horrible. Over $100 for just food and we felt cheated. The pasta sauce was like colorful water and horrible. The fried rice had fat instead of meat the rice was overcooked.

Had a reservation for 1:30pm but table wasn’t ready. After 30mins, we opted to stay at the bar. Bartender was super friendly. Drinks were nice. Ordered chargrilled oysters and deviled eggs to start. Took over 45 mins to get appetizers. Oysters were overcooked and dry. Eggs were super small (like they came from the dollar store sized) and filling was runny. Time check - it’s 2:55. Ordered stuffed salmon and grits. Waited another 35-40 mins and they forgot the grits. Food was barely warm. I suspect the entrees came out faster than the appetizers because the restaurant closes at 2:30 so there were considerably less people there by this time. Owner was at the bar and interacted with the guests but he didn’t seem to notice the long waits that the people on both sides of me were also complaining about. This was my third and final time giving them a chance. It had been a while so I thought things might have improved but nope. I tried to support but it’s a waste.

I visited with my mom and cousin. We had a reservation and were seated immediately. The DJ was playing really good music. I noticed that everyone entering was seated in a matter of minutes. We met for brunch. The food was great. I ordered oxtail and it was really good. It was a set holiday menu, but still had great options. The ambiance, vibes and diversity was amazing to experience.
