We’ve dined at Pangea a few times now, this being the first time for brunch and from the drinks to the meals the music and atmosphere were non stop wonderful. We continue to bring new people to the spot as often as we come and they would say the same!

Unfortunately i can not give the same review I gave to Yelp (character constraints) so I will give a very brief run down of our experience at Pangea. Atmosphere: 8/10 (inside)... we sat on the outside patio and it was nothing like inside. It seemed like an after thought overflow space. Food/Drink order: Mango Iced Tea 6/10 Good but nothing out of the ordinary Raspberry Iced Tea 2/10 Very bitter and no raspberry taste Firecracker Shrimp 7/10 Very good portion and taste, absolutely no spice as described **DID NOT EAT, SEE BELOW** Filet (medium well) 0/10 Hard, cold, and overcooked Greens 0/10 Cold and mushy Stuffed Salmon 0/10 cold and undercooked Service: We were greeted and seated very quickly. We had a reservation for 8:00. Drink order and appetizer order took about 20 minutes to complete. We ordered our entrees close to midway through the wait for appetizers (approx. 8:15). We were updated by our waitress once throughout the wait for our entrees. Very long wait for the food which was a little understood since they were fairly busy.... HOWEVER, we did not receive our entrees until 9:20! an hour wait with no drink refills or maybe even an offer for another appetizer while we waited.... When we received our food it was cold and wrong! If we were to wait for an hour, the food should have at least been hot... The manager was apologetic and offered to comp all the food and drinks except for the appetizer. He also offered for us to box up the food and return and give them another chance. We aren't from the Dallas area (in town for a Birthday) so that wasn't an option. We ended up making a last minute 10 pm reservation at another well known restaurant who was able to salvage my husbands special night....

Catfish and they cheesy Jalapeno grits is what I got soooo good .the food 10/10, the vibe 10/10 the service 10/10… this is definitely a place you would want to visit while in or near Dallas area.

Christopher our server had personality and was professionally appropriate. He made excellent recommendations. Everything our table had was delicious. Jamaican Beef Patties delightful. Lamb tender and seasoned perfectly. Pasta flavorful and cooked al dente. Bayou is a creole classic but with a Pangea twist. I was hoping for live music on this Wednesday but that didn't happen.

The food has a good flavor my steak was tender, and everyone at our table said the food was great, the drinks were also good too

Overall it was great food was great had great flavor drinks were on point and strong . The waitress was wonder the only thing I would complain about was the food took about a hour & a half to get other than that I’ll go back .

Overall, Pangea is good. Pangea would be really great place if service was better. Drinks are brought out super fast but tends to be a super long wait for appetizers and food. Waitstaff is ok…I’ve been a few times and they can be hit or miss with friendliness and attentiveness.
