Starters were lovely, waited almost one hour on main course, appeared to have been forgotten then brought severely microwaved food that was so hard it couldn’t be cut or eaten. Have eaten here lots of times and never had a bad meal. Took a friend from Wales and was embarrassed. She said it was the worst meal she’d ever been served in a restaurant. Service from waiting staff very good .

Disappointing! We were shown to our table and ordered drinks almost immediately, unfortunately we still didn’t have our drinks 30 mins later! My husband had to go to the bar twice to ask where our drinks were. Eventually arrived but order wasn’t correct. Food was delicious and service of meals excellent. Not the first time visiting and there have been issues with drinks orders/service at bar.

Came for my mums birthday, booked for 3pm slot inside the restaurant .Nice warm day as predicted in advance on the weather forecast. Arrived & stood waiting at the entrance to the restaurant with no acknowledgment from any staff for some time, we were the only ones waiting. Around 10 minutes later a member of staff who was pleasant took us took our seats. Girl gave us menus & took our order for drinks. Drinks took some time to arrive & never seen the girl again. Restaurant did not seem busy compared to previous visits, outside was busy due to weather but not full but service was poor overall. Drinks slow to arrive, no one coming near the table to take further drinks & having to go get someone even though an abundance of staff on? Then staff member coming back 20 minutes later to say 'ran out of aperol'. No problem but to wait that amount of time is ridiculous with no apology. Staff walking around aimlessly with no direction or sense of urgency for customers. Food arrived swiftly & tasty, good value. Beautiful setting unfortunately let down by poor customer service. Left feeling a little embarrassed I had chose here to celebrate my mums birthday but cannot fault the food.

After numerous lovely visits to Palomino’s restaurant, sadly the service was exceptionally poor. After being sat in the smallest out of sight table I had to ask for drinks after 20 minutes. We made our food order at same time. Restaurant was empty but it still took another 20 minutes to get our drinks. Food arrived another 25 minutes later. To be honest we were about to leave. It’s sad as the service and food are generally very good but unfortunately last night the service was diabolical. The server was very apologetic when she brought our bill.

Great meal with decent service in a very nice location. Only disappointment was the presence of garlic in a peppercorn sauce ? Spoiled what would have been a five star dinner.

Such a lovely place to sit and relax eating dinner to see the horses out as well is so nice. Staff are so helpful and kind. the food was lovely thr restaurant is beautiful inside and the surroundings outside are superb. Would definately recommend to others

Called ahead on the Saturday night to confirm if they do a Sunday roast. Which confirmed they did. I therefore booked table for 12.30 on the Sunday. More so for the Sunday roast. However, when we got there we were told it wasn't ready yet. Which was a little disappointing. We did choose other mains which were delicious. Service is always good on arrival and getting your food and drinks at palominos. However, I have always felt and even on this occasion, trying to get your bill is always difficult. You wait on server coming back but they never do. So you try to call on someone, or then leave your table to find someone. Then when you get your bill. Again there is a long wait for them to come back to you. It's not a massive deal. Just some feedback.

Food was excellent and staff were lovely. Had to wait about 5 mins before getting shown to our table which was right next to the bar area and near the door. It was cold and due to location was a very busy area with customers and staff passing. Was a busy Saturday night so took approx 40 mins total to get served and for food to arrive. Was very noisy which was to be expected due to amount of customers. There was a lot of staff but no one seemed to be organised. We had about 3 different servers. Ordered a second glass of wine and was told by server number 3 that as the bar was busy it could be a while, was still waiting on my drink by the time we were ready to leave. Didn't feel relaxed, probably due to position of the table. Was a bit pricey for what we had but I don't mind paying for good food and it was excellent. Not saying I wouldn't go back, maybe just not on a weekend.

First time here and it did not disappoint, booked for a business dinner with clients and they were very impressed. I will definitely be back Staff awesome and all very polite and friendly but the food and surroundings are amazing

Lovely surroundings. Staff friendly and good service. We enjoy steak and their fillet steaks are first class. However £3.95 is excessive for a sauce to accompany the steak and should be reduced in price.

Had to wait 10 minutes + when we arrived to be shown to a table…fyi this happened several weeks ago when we visited. New menu is not as varied or adventurous as the previous menu and your charge for a glass of pinot is just outrageous. My wife likes the ambience of the place however the lack of vegetarian choices is disappointing for her.

Young girl serving was outstanding. Very cheery, knowledgeable and helpful. Service was slow from kitchen. One of the soup orders was wrong, had to ask several times for the child’s ice cream, a long wait for that. Very expensive for kids meals, £7.95 for macaroni and £7.95 for chicken goujons.

Staff very friendly, maybe a few new staff who need a bit of training, got the wrong starter but quickly resolved without issue. Food very tasty. Didn’t feel rushed at all, overall a very enjoyable evening. One thing I have an allergy to balloons and a party beside us did have balloons and caused me a bit of problem but they left shortly after we arrived. I did not bring this to the attention of the staff but maybe something to be mindful of future diners and maybe only allow foil balloons.

Allocated table for 6 in a very noisy corner of restaurant. Restaurant very busy so no alternatives available. Food very average. Chicken burger wrapped in badly cooked ham. Very few king prawns in the spaghetti dish. Excellent steak pie but pastry very crumbly.

Staff very pleasant and friendly and very efficient. Food arrived in good time and portions very generous and tasty. Maybe not the cheapest but you are paying for lovely surroundings and a plus is you can go into arena and see horses. Will be nice to sit in attractive outside area in good weather. Worth a visit.

Enjoyed a delicious meal with friends. Food was lovely. We had a table overlooking the horse arena. As a group of horse enthusiasts, it was great as we could watch the riders while we enjoyed our meal. Kelly, our server, really looked after us and provided service with a beautiful smile. I am a regular visitor to Palamino’s & feel lucky to have this venue on my doorstep. Thank you ☺️

The food was very disappointing and expensive. Tempura was not crisp and doughy.Scampi was the same. Minestrone soup was poor. Brandy serve red in a tumbler and filled to the top with lemonade. Had to send it back. Staff were pleasant.

Fantastic service and food perfect. All staff made my family very welcoming and made sure thought out our meal we had everything.
