                                                                                                                      Pleasantly surprised by overall experience at Palomino's. The restaurant was relatively busy for a midweek night and given the standard of fare on offer, this was not surprising. My wife and I shared a Nachos platter as a starter and this was the correct choice. At the time I thought that the starter was appropriate for one rather than two but the flavours and the amount was just right to set us up for our main courses. My wife chose a tiger prawn pasta dish and I selected sea bass. While tiger prawns were perhaps cubs in terms of their size, there were enough to ensure that the dish didn't fall short in any way and the sauce was flavoursome. The sea bass arrived on a bed of mashed potatoes with a caper based sauce. The fish itself was perfect cooked and the sauce, underscored with lots of garlic, added to the dish. The star of the show however was the good old mashed potatoes. These were not puréed, but a form of half mashed/half creamed consistency, with chives, which when infused with the fish sauce, proved delightful - best mashed tatties ever. Compliments to the chef. All of this, with 2 soft drinks for just over £50. Not the expensive night out that I had been led to expect. Needless to say, a healthy tip was left.

                                                                                                                      The Palomino restaurant was an excellent place to relax and enjoy great food in a pleasant atmosphere. The service was excellent and they were knowledgeable about the menu's and were very relaxed and semmed happy at work. The night was Great and we didn't get rushed or hassled at all during the night

                                                                                                                      Popped up to Ingliston for dinner and it didn't disappoint. Place was busy. Great atmosphere. One of us had fish which was excellent. I had Palomino Pasta which was good, however, had much better as it was a bit mushy. The service from Chloe, Mhairi and Brodie was 11/10. You have an excellent Team
