Palmer River Grille is part of the Gorman family of restaurants, which include the Sakonnet River Grille and Four Corners Grille in Tiverton, RI. Our family has been running these restaurants since 1998 and 2015, respectively. From the cooks to the wait staff, our entire crew is dedicated to providing the highest quality food and fast, friendly service. There's something on our dinner menu and lunch menu for everyone. The waiter was very polite and adorable! His name was Ben. We had six people in our party of old friends who have known each other for 50 years so we were very busy enjoying our wine and conversation. We took a while before we ordered our food . When the food was served , it was enjoyed by all of us . The stuffed fish looked delicious. Two of my friends said it was outstanding! It was a special today. I had a French dip sandwich. The steak was very tender! We asked for separate checks because two ladies in our group do not drink alcoholic beverages because of their medical conditions so it wouldn’t be fair to split the check.Ben did a great job with six separate tabs. The restaurant was comfortable, clean , and attractive. We come often and will return soon.

The food was good - but service was slow. 40 minutes for our dinner to arrive. Lots of wait persons, but disorganized, or perhaps disinterested.
