I’m wondering why there is a 20% service fee and a wellness fee. I heard LA discontinued the wellness fees. I know at upscale restaurants they add fees because they’re constantly clearing the table and providing fresh cutlery and dinnerware with each course but that wasn’t the case at Palma. Otherwise, always enjoy the ambience.

We went to the Palma lounge for the tea service because we love the Proper and have had great food and service at both their restaurants in Santa Monica and Austin. However, while the tea course was excellent the service was not what we expected. We sat for 10 minutes before getting any water then continued to sit for 30 minutes before we even got our tea. We had sat for close to 40 before the food was brought out and our server never came to check on us, ask if I wanted to order a drink from the bar which we did which is why we asked for a menu and, and overall seemed completely scattered. This is understandable but the lounge wasn’t even busy to warrant not being able to cover his tables. Loved the food service was non existent.

We had tea for 6. Every aspect was delightful…from the food to the decor / atmosphere to the service. Great space for a large group .. it is also tranquil. Will definitely be back for tea and to try the other dining options as well as hopefully do a staycation there soon.

The food and ambiance are always fantastic. Drinks are a little pricey but you're paying for the overall experience . Worth noting that you have to enter through the valet area where people gather to smoke cigarettes.... It's really disgusting and off-putting having to walk through that on your way to dinner.

The door was hard to find at first. We knew it was there because of Open Table. Everyone was friendly and helpful. We loved the causal to dressy atmosphere. We will be back

The interior of the palma is lovely - relaxing and beautifully decorated. Very calm zen vibe. The happy hour is a good value and the food and drinks are good. We also ordered off the regular menu.

Wonderful tea service and ambiance. Service very slow, no one checking on the table for over an hour and difficult to flag anyone to help.

Palma was great! The ambience was trendy; I loved the decor of the restaurant. Excellent service. Our waitress was very knowledgeable and kind. I will definitely come back .
