The food was good but the service was not. Very slow service, lack of attention to details (no plates delivered with / for the table appetizer, did not fill empty water glasses promptly, etc.) and a long time between the appetizer served and the main course delivered. Did not feel like they appreciated our business.

Very long time to be seated even with reservations. Even longer time to be served. First round of food came back cold. Second round of food was warm but not amazing, not well seasoned. Very pleasant waitress, but the meal and experience was not worth the money.

I really wanted this experience to work. Service was terrible. We had reservations for 8:30. Got seated at 9:15 after several reminders that we were still waiting. After being seated, the table next to us said food was average, 3 meals came out and they had to wait another 45 min for the 4th. We decided to leave after that. Music was good and wine was good too.

I made reservations for 8 pm and didn't get seated until 8:20, my party waited over 30 minutes to be served, half of the table was given water and the others had no water. it took them about 25+ more minutes for our food to be served and we did not have silverware, which was another thing we had to wait on for another 15 minutes, food was okay, a bit of a letdown, especially after waiting that long. The live music was great. Overall I wouldn't recommend it to a friend.

The place was nice and cozy, great music. Our server was nice and friendly. The food was served below room temperature. You can tell most of the food was processed or packaged and not freshly cooked as the plates were hot, but the food was not! Not even the seafood dip or the jerk chicken egg rolls. One of my guest ordered the Salmon and the other the Bistro Burger, both served cold! The bacon on the burger was left over from brunch. My Rasta Pasta was cold, however, I heated it up at home. The manager was ver nice and accommodating. She offered to bring me another hit order of the jerk chicken egg rolls, then came back and said they were out of them? So I ordered the fried shrimp and they came out nice and hot and they were delicious! All the food should have been served like that and I probably would’ve recommended the Palm 78.

So disappointed with this restaurant because I was so looking forward to it and the service was horrible. We waited almost 20 minutes before we even got our water. That should tell you how the rest of the night went. The food was good and ambiance was nice but that was it. The restaurant wasn’t even busy and it took long for everything. They even ran out of big ice cubes for my friend’s old fashion drink. Just a bad experience overall.

There was one server for 15 or more tables, so our drink took an hour to arrive and food even longer. The "filet mignon" was tough and chewy like a sirloin but priced like a porterhouse. The bill was over two hundred dollars and not worth a penny of it. I wish we had walked out after waiting so long for our drinks.

I reserved a table at Palm 78 at 6:00 p.m. on a Tuesday night. Our group was there to celebrate my birthday before attending a concert. Sadly, our experience was terrible from start to early exit. My wife and I arrived about 10 minutes before the reservation. No one was working at the hostess stand, and no one from the restaurant even spoke to us for nearly 10 minutes. But Stephen, who would later purport to be our server, did come by and direct us to a table at 6:00 p.m. (His appearance at the time of our reservation wasn't intentional; it was a happy accident.) Although the restaurant was mostly empty, we were seated at a table right next to another six-person group. Odd, but fine. Stephen stopped by the table to welcome us. He told us that he was busy because a bartender hadn't showed up. (Makes sense. I had planned to get a drink at the bar when I arrived but scrapped that plan because no one was there.) Even so, Stephen promised to take "very good care" of us. Not so. Stephen took our drink orders: 1 water, 3 unsweet teas, and 2 cokes. That's about as simple as a drink order gets. Stephen then disappeared. Five minutes passed. Ten passed. Still no Stephen. I mean, he's not even taking care of the other tables. Nothing. After waiting 16 minutes for drinks, we got up and left. We never saw Stephen again after he promised to take "very good care" of us. Don't misunderstand: I'm not saying this it's all Stephen's fault. I just wish he'd been honest. If he'd said, "you don't want to try to eat her tonight here because we're drowning in a pool of ineptitude," I wouldn't be writing this review. I might even go back to Palm 78 in the future. (The other times I've been it was good.) But he didn't. So now I'm writing this review. And I won't be back. Alpharetta has a plethora of good restaurants. Try those first.

Service was not up to par. The food was good, but not good enough to deal with the service. The Peach cobbler drink had too much ice for the price. My Alasia Moscato was delicious. We had the seafood dip and jerk chicken egg rolls to start. They forgot our egg rolls, and when asked, they finally brought them to us. Our entrees were the spicey lobster fettuccine and the epis steelhead trout. The food was good!

Delicious food & cocktails. Got a nice Birthday serenade by the musician. The only area of improvement would be in the attentiveness of the Hostess & waitress. She did the best under the circumstances of having to work both positions. My entire party enjoyed their meals. The trout entree was exceptional.

Food was good. Server was friendly and knowledgeable, but the place seemed understaffed. There weee 2 large parties there while we were there, so everything took a long time. Had a nice duo doing live music (guitar & singer) and the ambiance was nice.

It was a very nice experience. I would’ve just loved to known that for two people there was an 18% gratuity added they should definitely make that unknown factor when dining for two besides that the short ribs were delicious the espresso martini was impeccable and the atmosphere was lovely, they definitely need to clean up the patio but besides that wonderful establishment.

The food was great, my wife and I just had one issue. Our server was new, so a little bit of grace to extend, however, there is one confusing element on the menu. It was the snapper and seafood dish. It is a dish meant for two, however, what the menu does not call out is the fact that if you order the single, everything is a-la-carte,and our server did not call it out. We did not realize it until a single fish, no sides or anything else came out. No super big deal- management took care of it and was very receptive. In all, an otherwise good experience overall. The live music was a nice touch. I'd definitely come back.

We enjoyed ourselves. Food was great. I have a gluten allergy and I was able to eat the salmon and rice however, I would like to see more small plate options for customers with food allergies.

The food was the worst it has ever been. Seafood rice was undercooked had to send it back. Our poor server was the bartender and did the best she could. I didn’t like the fact that we waited a long time for food and service but the Hostess basically told us that the rice would come out the same. Idk if she was trying to get us to not send it back but that was distasteful and it actually came out better when we sent it back. Idk if I will return anytime soon.

Valentine’s Day “experience” is not the best time to evaluate, but for us it was very good overall considering with the price being up there. We came away satisfied with our evening but felt that the restaurant was still figuring some things out, which is completely understandable. Our experience was probably diminished by the fact that the musician’s speakers were directly behind me, less than ten feet. That being said, the musician was very talented, our situation just made conversation imposible at times. The food was definitely creative in composition and presentation, with great sear on the scallop and steak. I did enjoy my filet with the serious sear on both sides and generous portion but was closer to MW than the MR requested. It must have had good marbling as it was still enjoyable. Corn chowder course was very tasty, perhaps the best I’ve had… very flavorful and textural. We shared the two desert options a both were excellent (red velvet brownie and fruit stuffed beignets). We may have to give it a try when it not the most challenging night of the year.

Food was amazing! French toast is to die for. They no longer do the oxtail and grits but they short ribs and grits and when I tell you it was amazing and tender!!! Could be a little less fatty but overall amazing.

Although our waitress forgot to put our drink orders in and failed to keep our water glasses filled (we asked for more water and she still didn’t bring us any. We had to ask the host for water) we had a good time and the food was good.

Neither me or partner liked our entrees, appetizers were ok. We definitely told our server that we did not like the food, and one item was burnt flavored (chef’s signature fish of the day). We were offered no alternative for the inedible dishes. Service was poor and very slow with plenty of seating available. The Saxophonist was enjoyable and the place had a nice decor.
