We had Salmon & Seabass entrees. Their fresh bread is delicious. We also each had their soup to begin. Service was excellent and even though we sat inside, we had a great view. Pacifica is a little pricey but worth it because it is such a nice dining experience.

Our server was a terrific guy and really attentive and gave excellent descriptions of the dishes on the menu. We have dined here before, but tonight’s meal was particularly on point. At our table, we had the halibut, scallops, and Ai tuna, and all were excellent. Kudos to our server.

Took my parents for Mother's Day. I had never been and heard good things. One of the reasons I chose Pacifica was because I had heard they had good cioppino! My father has been looking for good cioppino but hasn't found the one he likes. While he enjoyed the cioppino broth he was disappointed there were NO CLAMS! We asked the waiter why there was no clams and he went back to the kitchen and came back and said they ran out earlier in the day. Had my father known that he would have ordered something else! The other dishes ordered were very good, the service was good and the view spectacular. I will be back so that I can try the full dinner menu!

Went to Pacifica for Mother's Day. They had a prix fixed menu which was not announced on the website so when we made the brunch reservations, we did not know it was a prix fixed menu with limited appetizers, limited entrees and limited dessert selections We asked if we could order off the menu and were told we could not. I ordered a spinach salad; the spinach was limp. I ordered eggs benedict, and it wasn't very good. The custard in the creme Brule was not firm. Service was slow. They brought the appetizers before the drinks arrived. No one came by to fill the water glasses. I would not go back.

We had a wonderful Mother's Day meal. We were surprised when the bill arrived however to get an additional $4 charge for a coffee refill. The $60/pp charge included either a mimosa, bloody mary, champagne, fresh juice or coffee. One of our party ordered the cheapest option coffee and we assumed a refill would not be charged (all of the other beverage choices would be additional charges of course). I know this sounds petty but come on Pacifica, $4 additional for a coffee refill? We are just glad we didn't ask for more bread.

Delicious entries, perfectly prepared, delivered hot to the table in a timely manner. The desert, Mocha Fredette, was heavenly.

The hostess just pointed at our table and said she’ll meet us there rather than actually seating us. Then we didn’t have all our place settings, so we had to ask for those. The halibut was good , but the salmon and the steaks were mediocre. Overall it was fine, but not great and I can’t really see going back.

We had a nice dinner with friends. The menu could definitely be expanded especially if eating gluten free. The service was wonderful but because they cater to larger groups it was quite loud even though we were there early and the restaurant was not full.

Lousy food. Don’t bother. Even the french fries are lousy and cold. Its clear management is not engaged at this place. Pulled pork was dry, bun wasn’t fresh, burger was nothing to write home about etc.. Just eat somewhere else.

What an amazing place! We have been coming for years and enjoy the Happy Hours and dinner menu when we can. Last night was another reason we always return to Pacifica. A small error in our order was quickly rectified and we were also credited for an item. It wasn’t a big mistake but to have a company hold to a higher standard and ensure each client has a wonderful experience, no marketing their first time or regular customer, is the service you so desperately want when going out can be so expensive. Thank You to everyone at Pacifica for always making our nights out a joyous occasion.

We’ve been eating at Pacifica since it opened decades ago. It is consistently good. My most recent entree , seared ahi, was great quality. However, the carrots that accompanied the dish were too crunchy to eat. Otherwise Pacifica remains a dependably good Del Mar choice.

The ambience is amazing. Unfortunately it was cloudy, but we still had a beautiful view of the Pacific. The food was excellent and server was above and beyond our expectations. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Great ambiance and service but the food was not as good as expected. My wife loved the fish but the shrimp / fettuccine was just ok. We will try it again down the road.

The food we ordered overall was very good. The steamed mussel red curry, were excellent. We also ordered the scallops and seared ahi which were excellent. My carrots were too hard to cut, which was the only downside.

We visited from NYC and found this restaurant to be so hip and fun. Joshua our waiter and Trevor the manager were very attentive and ensured that we had a good experience. We were able to watch the sunset and get great drinks, food and ambiance. Will def visit if we come back to this area!

As always, our experience was EXCEPTIONAL! Everything from the service by the entire staff to the delectable dishes was perfect. We feel so at home every time we visit we would not consider any other dining spot for a special meal. BRAVO to the crew who handled a busy night so effortlessly.

Isela took excellent care of us and the view is lovely. I very much enjoyed my tuna nachos and my wife loved her ahi salad. The small bread loaf is a nice addition.

I have counted Pacifica as one of my favorite restaurants for the past 25 years. I have seen them thru numerous chef changes and changes to the menu. I was disappointed in the current changes which lacked vegetarian options, limited fish offerings and missing the diverse menu we had all enjoyed, including our favorite bon bon and chocolate lava cake. I’m afraid you’ve missed the mark this time

Pacifica is always spot on for a perfect dining experience. The food and service is exceptional. John, our server went out of his way to please everyone especially our guests. A favorite place of ours for many years.

Fine dining at its best! A little noisy but felt like a happening place instead of being irritating! Fish was fresh and delicious!
