Pacific Catch is a WestCoast Fish House dedicated to delivering high quality sustainable seafood with a unique perspective. From the day we opened we've been mindful about where our ingredients come from and how to bring to life the vibrant flavors and feeling of the Pacific. It's our commitment to our guests to keep things interesting, innovative, wholesome and thoughtfully sourced. That's why we've formalized our relationship with the Monterey Bay Seafood Aquarium's Seafood Watch, James Beard Foundation's Smart Catch and the Surfrider Foundation by becoming a partner and bringing on a director of sustainability to help steward these efforts. We will be following the most stringent protocols on cleaning, sanitization, social distancing, and protections for employee health including temperature taking and the use of protective masks and gloves.

We were happy to be greeted by a friendly hostess and seated right away at a lovely booth Emily, our server was amazing! She made our Mother’s Day lunch very special with her kindness and attentiveness. Our food was very fresh and delicious. We all enjoyed it- thanks Emily and Pacific Catch for a memorable experience!’

I wish our local (San Mateo) Pacific Catch was as airy, light and inviting as the Palo Alto location. I would go more often and recommend to others. The San Mateo location is extremely dark and cold. Even during the warmer days.

I had an amazing time on Mother’s Day with my family. Thanks to our wonderful server, Christina, who gave us great recommendations. Highly recommend the mixed grill for two chimichurri style with crab mashed potatoes and Brussels sprouts. Will definitely be back.

I ordered the rainbow sushi that had shrimp inside and tuna on the outside. The tuna on the outside was very skimpy. It did not look freshly made which of course affected the taste. My husband ordered fish and chips and as often happens, the chips were lukewarm. I feel this place is deteriorating unfortunately.

We had a group of five, a few a little finicky, but Pacific Catch accommodated us with aplomb. Excellent service. Very good food. I will definitely return.

Food was very good and fresh! The service needs much improvement. I’ve been at this location several times within the past 6 months and we had to ask 3 separate times fir water refill. We ordered the California roll as an appetizer and looked fresh and was very good BUT the person that dropped it off at our table didn’t get chop sticks, appetizer plates (or any plate of matter), and no soy sauce. After literally waiting 8-10 minutes, I got up and went to the Hostess stand abd asked. That’s when our waiter saw me up there, walked by and said “I’ll get it”. He saw us waiting for it when he was at the table next yo us taking they’d order (??). We sat outside and really like the atmosphere. I ordered the Baja Fish Tacos (grilled Cod, and it was very good and fresh tasting! It came with a dude of black beans and I requested the side miso salad but you can get fries or another item as a side dish included. We were too full to try their dessert but will try it another time. Price I’d very reasonable too! Just wished the service was better.

Lots of menu options, most anyone will find something to enjoy Service was gracious, but a bit slow. Will definitely be on my list of frequently visited restaurants

I dined casually with my brother last night (April 17th) and sat outside in the beautifully covered patio and enjoyed amazing food. I was skeptical because we were big fans of Max's which occupied this space for decades. The ambiance was lovely and the waitress, also our hostess, was a total delight. We each got a chiarashi bowl and ordered with 1/2 greens and brown rice, which was recommended without prompting. I'd highly recommend Pacific Catch.

Good was good. Service was nonexistent. Guess we were in the bartender’s section. Lunch took two hours. !!! Coffee was awful.

We had a great time. Our waiter was new, but good and energetic. The food was served on a timely manner- just like everything now a days, things just seem so expensive.

It’s a fun atmosphere, the poke and guacamole appetizer was delicious. Love their MaiTai’s. Staff is attentive and friendly.

There were 4 of us dining…all our meals were excellent…Salmon Chowder, California Rolls, Calamari, Ahi Chirashi, Teriyaki Chicken and Sauteed Broccolini. The covered outdoor patio was perfect…clean, bright and comfortable.

Our server was exceptional and the food was delicious as usual. We eat there quite often and the 4 of us are very tall, and we normally sit outside in big booths. Thank you for the delicious, Birthday dessert too!

There were six of us. All were happy with their choices. We were not rushed so it was a good experience. We had the fish tacos and the Mexican plate with lime shrimp. All was very good.

My only complaint is the glasses and napkins were dirty. They were quickly replaced. Food was great and reasonably priced. We were seated before 6pm so we got happy hour prices for most of our order!

We had asked the server we didn't want coleslaw and we wanted a sub side my sister could eat. But he still brought us coleslaw that had to be tossed since I didn't want it either so unfortunately the side went to waste. The side we had placed that my sister didn't have allergies with was Brussels sprout and it was not considered a replacement for something that she was allergic to. So was a little disappointed. Other than that the food was good.

Grilled fish selection and Miso black cod were excellent. Our dinner was a late nigh reservation and the service was very friendly and polite even though it was a late service (9:30pm). They accommodated us with no rush or pressure to close up. We were delayed by a previous event and traffic, so we were extremely appreciative of the welcome and friendliness late in the evening. The food was prepared and served well and we enjoyed our late dinner. We will be back and recommend to family and friends.

I've come to Pacific Catch often when I am taking someone to lunch (as well as coming with friends). There is a nice variety of foods. Everyone has always been pleased with their selection. Service is always excellent. I like the idea that we can eat "outside" but still be covered and comfortable despite the weather.

I love this restaurant. I had the steelhead trout with corn and shitakie mushrooms black rice. Always a great meal. Service is not always great. Took forever to get my ice tea refilled. Otherwise, it is one of my favorite places.

Food was very good. Nice Valentine's Day specials. Very good service despite busy holiday evening. We really enjoy this restaurant, happy to have made an early reservation, restaurant was packed by the time we left.

My boyfriend and I had a remarkable time here yet again! Thanks so much for going above and beyond to create a special pre valentines gift for him and following my special requests for making a note for him! We were checked on often, our server was kind and attentive , and the managers were so sweet. Food was delicious and hit the spot! We always love coming here !!!!!

The restaurant staff is very friendly beginning with those working at the check-in desk, to the servers, assistant dining room staff, and the manager, who stopped by our table to make sure we were having a good experience. The food is great and being able to sit outside is a bonus. Our server, Abha, was great!

Ordered the Coconut Shrimp as an Appetizer, but they were completely over cooked and rubbery. Sent them back and the waitress was nice about it and after another 12 mins when the replacement dish came again....same thing completely way over cooked. General Manger came by and I apologized for the wasting of food. But he actually agreed, said they need to set a new shorter cooking time, that would be a new standard. Took the order off the bill, but I was very dissapointed that the communication between staff and Kitchen continued the problem and after wasting 2 dishes still could not get it right!

Very nice lunch experience overall. My friend and I both ordered the Baja Cod Salad, which was very good. It was one of the 5 lunch options for $15. The menu is very diverse and interesting, prices are reasonable. We sat in outside covered area with nearby heat lamps so it was quite comfortable. Waiter was attentive and pleasant. I'll have to return and try other items on menu.
