Once home to a parking garage in the 1960s, P6 has been transformed into an intimate rooftop garden lounge space for open-air dining and drinks with sweeping views of Town Lake and the lush South Austin skyline.

The menu of Contemporary American small plates and inventive seasonal cocktails pairs well with technicolor Texas sunsets.

Open every evening and on weekends for brunch. See you on 6.

Reservations are highly recommended. Self-parking is available in the hotel parking lot for $10 for 3 hours. Please see host for discount.

The drinks and view were amazing and the air vents they had blowing with mist really helped the hot Austin day. However, our server obviously did not want to be there and it took us flagging down 4 different servers just to get water (it took over an hour). When it’s hot like that you have to have water so that was a pretty big negative. We also got the charcuterie board and for the price, I expected a lot more. The portion size was great, but the cheeses and meats had almost no flavor and came out warm. Which once again, if you’re sitting outside and it’s 90 degrees, you don’t want that! Overall the place was beautiful and the drinks were amazing, but for the prices you’d expect a lot more in terms of service and quality.

Wonderful pre-dinner stop on Mother’s Day. Visiting from out of town, this place sounded interesting from all the reviews. We decided to stop here before dinner to enjoy a sunset and seeing the bats at the bridge. We saw neither because of the weather and time of season. We still enjoyed a drink and delicious appetizers overlooking the view of the lake. I loved the unpretentious atmosphere. Our waitress was fantastic, friendly with good recommendations. The drinks were delicious and the food was phenomenal. We had the scallops and the greens. Drinks were beautifully served. When we first sat down a large group had 2young kids. The kids were screaming running around and literally climbing on the rails and furniture. The adults were oblivious, thinking this behavior was acceptable for the venue. It was apparent they provably frequent dining places like Chuck E Cheese. The adults weren’t much better talking so loud! Then joined in with the kids pulling off seat cushions, throwing them. One of the men decided to lay on the couch under the seat cushion to play hide and seek with the kids. All the other patrons trying to enjoy their evening were annoyed at this groups lack of awareness. Our waitress finally went over and talked to them letting them know this was not appropriate behavior for the restaurant. The group was getting ready to go and quickly left. The waitress handled it professionally and the rest of the restaurant guests could enjoy their evening without the annoyance. Aside from that happening, it was a wonderful experience. I would definitely recommend P6 for a pre dinner stop or a place to grab drinks and a lighter meal. I’ll be back again and hope to next time see the sunset and the bats.

We sat for more than 10 minutes. No one greeted us or tried to engage with us. We left and went else where.

My experience at P6 with Sarah was so incredible! She’s so knowledgeable about the menu and was so sweet and informative. She made great suggestions for us to order and we loved everything!
