We have been wanting to try Overlook and Cincy Restaurant Week was the perfect opportunity. Their menu was simple but satisfying and full of flavor from the salad with a lemon dill dressing garnished with crunchy chickpeas to the well-seasoned tender ribeye to the dessert of orange sponge cake with burnt sugar, we were glad we decided to go! The drinks and overall service was great too and even though it is a more upscale menu, it was a come as you are atmosphere. Maybe next time we can enjoy their sprawling patio with live music as well.

Food was very underwhelming. It was not bad, just very little flavorful. Would not make an effort to return. The live music was nice but very loud for the small space. Drinks and peanut butter mousse were both really good! Server was attentive and polite.

This was our first visit and we will be back. The food was delicious and our salmon was prepared perfectly. We also enjoyed the Napa cabbage salad. The ambience was okay but it did feel a little sterile and minimalistic, but the food and service made up for it.

The service was good and we liked the wine. The food was overpriced and a let down. The salad was super basic and the duck was dry. The waffle tasted like a bisquick waffle. Would not recommend.

It was a good meal and the service was very friendly though a bit slow. There was a large party seated near us and they were quite loud. The food was cooked well and as ordered and tasted good but nothing really leaped out as special.

Stopped by after a event at The Summit Hotel and was amazed by the food!! I was told there is a new winter menu and tried a cocktail that was recommended. The atmosphere is a relaxed not stuffy like some higher end places. I had the beef tartare (one of my favorites) I was intrigued by the mustard ice cream. For my main I had the pasta carbonara, the fresh black truffle blew my mind! So good, definitely recommend!!!

One of my guests enjoyed a sirloin that was cooked properly, but everything else we had was mediocre at best. The dining room was booked for a rehearsal dinner, so perhaps the kitchen staff weren't up to their best. The lamb "lollipops" were shared, cooked well, but the pistachio pesto was bland with an unpleasant texture, and I love pistachios. We started with the crispy pork belly; it was undercooked, like room temp and flabby. The frito misto was sad, mostly breading, and dry. The salmon dish looked great, but the fish was overcooked and both it and the polenta cake were dry and bland. The brussels sprouts with the sirloin were crunch, almost raw inside while the outside was mushy. I had the cold noodle salad special and found it very dull. The mussels were actually pretty interesting, with watermelon notes, but one of them wasn't opened, so I don't think it should have been served. That's a big miss in a dish where the only protein was eight very small mussels. We ordered every dessert on the menu but there's nothing to recommend there either. The spicy margarita was really good. We had a rioja from the wine selection, but that was disappointing. The service was ok. There weren't many tables, and we didn't see our server nearly often enough. That seems to happen when restaurants aren't busy, ironically. Anyway, I will probably stay at this hotel again, but I will find another dining option.

We went there for Restaurant Week and sat outside on a perfect evening. Dinner was spectacular. Our server, Audrey, was top notch. The only suggestion I would make would be to add a little lighting outside. By the time we had desert, it was difficult to see what was on our plates. But we would definitely go back.

Place was empty and we went at 7pm on a Saturday night. Appetizers were good. Had the special (tortellini with crab) the crab was 4 tiny claws and the tortellini was packaged (not handmade). Lambs popsicles had good flavor but were undercooked. Drinks were good. Service was good. Wouldn’t go back.

Nice restaurant with a nice terrace. Good service. I had lamb chops and my companion had pork chops. My food was a little too salty but hers was way too salty. I told the wait staff and she was sympathetic but no adjustment or compensation. I would not return.

We ordered the pork belly appetizer which was fine, but then we got our entrees, and they were inedible. The pappardelle and bucatini were so bland I briefly wondered if I had covid again. Absolutely no salt in either of this dishes, and if they were otherwise seasoned, I couldn’t tell. We asked for salt, but it only brought out the flavor of burnt mushrooms, and I just couldn’t eat my food. My partner was able to eat most of his pappardelle once he seasoned it, but it wasn’t great. His stomach has been upset since we got home, so I’m actually grateful I couldn’t eat any of my food now. Worst restaurant we’ve eaten at in the year we’ve lived here. Cocktails and service was good though.

Gio was our server and he did an excellent job! He was warm and personable, and his timing was perfect. He checked on us several times throughout the meal, but did not hover! The setting was beautiful and the food delicious! Highly recommend to all!

Sat outside. Wonderful night to do that. Nice view. Made 6:15pm reservation but almost nobody else there. Wife had lamb lollipops. Tasty & tender. Husband had pork chop tomahawk. It was chewy & hard to eat.

Great food in a great space! The Summit Hotel is a beautiful place and the Overlook lived up to its surroundings. The salads were unique, fresh and delicious and I would definitely recommend the sweet potato gnocchi.

This restaurant has so much potential but at the moment it is simply mediocre. The drinks are over priced for not being anything special. While the dishes ordered were fine and beautifully presented, every course had an issue. The salad was under- dressed and desperately craving an extra punch of acid. The steak dish had a turnip/ horseradish puree that was lacking in horseradish, thus providing an underwhelming contrast to the rich steak. Another sauce would have greatly benefitted the dish as well. The Lemon tart dessert was perfectly passable but something I could easily make at home.... Otherwise, the service was great and the restaurant is beautiful. It just needs to find a culinary stride.

The soup and salmon were over salted, but the crust on the salmon was great. I didn’t get feel satisfied with the garbanzo bean side dish. The server did a nice job and the staff I interacted with were very nice. The parking garage is a bit bizarre. Large cement pylons are very close beside each parking spot which made it quite difficult to park. Every single one’s have car paint all over them so many people have skimmed them.

I am sure that when the outdoor areas are open it is much more impressive, but the indoor area is rather plain and feels like a diner/bar. The menu is extremely limited, but everything we ate there was good and the prices were reasonable. The service was good.

The hostesses were lovely and helpful. Our server was fine, no major issues. But they were only serving their lunch menu on a Friday night, which was pretty disappointing. They were also out of a few beers on draft, without replacements. The atmosphere could be nice but the view isn’t really anything great and the inside of the entire hotel is strange/sterile. Lots of empty space. When we were taken to our table there was ketchup spilled all over the concrete and it looked like it had been left for a few hours to bake in the sun. The server made a comment it must’ve been from the night before. That was just strange and they didn’t have the proper supplies to clean it up. So bees tended to gather by our table. We all ordered burgers which were just fine. I don’t think we will return. Just not noteworthy or special enough when there are so many other good places.

Excellent service. Nice, laid back atmosphere. Wings and caesar salad were tasty. Even had live music. Only improvement would be broader food and drink selection. Will be back!

Me & my wife went on the Thursday before the Cincinnati Music Fest. It was 97 degrees outside but the rooftop had a few shaded areas. The hamburger that my wife had was really good. I got the strip steak & it was very tasty. They have free parking & a bar.

When we walked to the host station, the host had his back to any customers, doing something on his phone. We were seated, and given the menu, which was very limited. I ordered their featured burger for Cincinnati Burger Week, which could not be modified in any way. You couldn't even ask to have it served with no pickles. It was a thin burger with a decent flavor, but very dry. The burger was served in a paper boat like you get an order from fries at the county fair. It was like the burgers were all prepped ahead of time, and then warmed individually when one was ordered. We had no napkins or utensils until we asked for them. Someone brought my wife and I a sealed packet with a small napkin, and a plastic knife and spoon, the kind you get with a carryout order from KFC. Our server checked on us a couple minutes after we were served. When we were finished, we waited for her to return, finally I got the attention of another employee, and ask him to find the server so we could get our check. After five more minutes, she came with the check. I gave her my card, and when she ran it, and brought it back, I finally looked at the total. She had charged my wife twice for her meal. It took another five minutes to get that resolved. My impression was they had just opened, and had lots of wrinkles to iron out. When I got home, I checked TripAdvisor, and they had been open for more than a year. :(

Four of us enjoyed a healthy lunch. The server was very friendly and answered all of our questions. The food was hot, quick and delicious. It was too hot to eat outside, but the view was great.

Nice to be outside but the view isn’t anything to rave about. Food was ok but menu selection was extremely limited. Service was excellent and the hotel and resteraunt atmosphere was very nice - especially if you like modern decor.

Burger and fries were good. Definitely do not recommend the Onion Soup. Patio is beautiful.
