We don't often get to Ovation Bistro & Bar so today's visit was a nice treat! We love the food and the fact they will donate a meal when you order one of the meals designated on the menu! The menu has plenty of variety beginning with the appetizers! You will be sure to find something you love. The service was wonderful and the portions will have you leaving with leftovers.

This was our first time here visiting the area. It was 2:15 and quiet so promptly seated. Erin was our waitress who was very friendly and attentive. I ordered brisket and ribs. The brisket was delicious and so was the Ovation barbecue sauce. Garden salad was fresh and a good choice. Ribs were kind of dry and just okay. Hubby had ribeye and said it was very good. Had mango margarita that was freshing. Inside is dark but booths are very spacious and restroom very clean. Must try if you’re in the area.

When we first checked in with Patrick at the front desk he informed us that he would be our waiter for our group. What an exceptional young man! He was very kind and considerate and very helpful in describing the dinner selections. Once ordered the food came out fast,hot and was very delicious. The cheese cake that I had for dessert was one of the best ever.

Friendly service in a casual but nicely decorated restaurant. The food was well prepared and tasty. I had a New York strip which was cooked nicely with a good sear. I prefer it more seasoned but thats just me. I was impressed with the wedge salad which was done perfectly with fresh cold iceberg with all the toppings. The chefs specials looked interesting but at a higher price. I will return when back in the area.

I had a Ribeye. It was tough and dry. I was looking for a new place and this will not make the list for a return visit. Our waitress struggled with the hand held ordering system. She kept asking me to wait while ordering. I had to ask another waitress for my drink which was sitting on the end of the bar. We also had to ask for bread which was not delivered until after we finished our salads.

First of all, this is not really a bistro. Secondly, service was not great. Aside from being immediately seated, there was a lot of waiting - for server to welcome us, take our drink orders, bring the drinks and app, entrees, etc. BBQ flat bread was really good. Lamb chops were a little overcooked. Ribs in chicken and ribs combo were great but chicken was dry.

We picked this restaurant based on the rave reviews and I didn’t find the experience to be great at all. Unfriendly service and low end pub food in a dark, dingy atmosphere. Ribs, their specialty, were dry and tough. Fine for a quick bite but we didn’t find it worthy of all the great reviews at all. Disappointing.

Nice place, good service, good food, (ribs were great) ample parking. The hostess didn’t skip a beat to open side room when the crow grew.
