Chefs Nick Diaz and Kiefer Manning have been hard at work renovating the historic Chicago & Great Western Railroad Depot into a cozy and inviting restaurant for you to enjoy. Our Paladar offers a locally sourced, seasonal dinner menu most evenings. You can look forward to handmade breads and pastas along with small and main plates. Patio seating is available when the season allows. The team at Our Paladar cannot wait to welcome you!

    Our table ordered nearly half the menu and everything was fantastic and creative. Best food in Rochester

    My friend had never been to Our Paladar! So I brought her for the first time and we had a wonderful dinner with incredible food and service. I appreciate that all the staff know the menu inside and out and can give such killer recommendations. We ordered the cauliflower and and hummus for apps (both are the best I've ever had, I keep going back to them) and the bucatini for dinner. It was all delicious! The portions are a good size too - even though the small portion is more than enough for dinner, if you order the large you can take plenty home for dinner the next day! The only thing better than a night of Chef Nick's homemade pasta is having Chef Nick's homemade pasta two nights in a row.

    Third time and again really happy that Our Paladar is in town! Octopus, Arancini and Burrata were great sharing starters Mahi Mahi was fantastic, the perfect preparation as was the Risotto! We ordered the seasonal Spritz, a happy drink! See you next time:-)

    If you're in search of a delightful outdoor dining experience in the downtown area, look no further than this hidden gem. Nestled away from the bustling streets, the restaurant offers a stunning patio that promises a serene escape and an unforgettable dining experience. The outdoor space is truly a standout feature. With its elegant setup and charming ambiance, it's a rarity in this part of the city. The live performer during my visit added a wonderful touch, providing a soothing soundtrack that perfectly complemented the relaxed atmosphere without overpowering conversations. This subtle yet impactful addition made the evening feel special and unhurried. Architecturally, the restaurant is a visual delight. The building's features blend historical charm with modern aesthetics, creating a captivating backdrop for any meal. It’s clear that a lot of thought has gone into preserving the character of the space while making it inviting and comfortable for diners. The culinary experience here is equally impressive. The yuca fries are a must-try; they arrived at the table golden and crispy on the outside, with a soft and flavorful center that was simply bursting with taste. My companion couldn't stop raving about the Mahi Mahi, which I regretfully didn't sample because I was thoroughly engrossed in my pasta carbonara. And what a carbonara it was! Perfectly cooked al dente pasta—a rare find—was the base for a dish that hit all the right notes. The smoky pancetta provided just the right amount of savory bite, while the rich, pronounced egg flavor marked it as a true carbonara, avoiding the common pitfall of being overwhelmed by cream. Each bite was a reminder of what this dish should taste like when done correctly. From start to finish, my experience at this restaurant was nothing short of delightful. The combination of excellent food, a beautiful setting, and the pleasant atmosphere created by the live music makes it a place worth visiting again and again.

    Great experience from start to finish with a friendly helpful greeting as we arrived, terrific waitstaff, wonderful drinks and food! We were celebrating a birthday and enjoyed every minute. Will look forward to our next visit to Our Paladar!

    Great service and food. Recommending to friends. Good variety. Can bring your own bottle of wine but have a $20 corkage fee.

    What a wonderful find! We sat on the covered patio of the adorable transformed train station. We ordered the octopus, scallops & burrata - all of which were delicious. Beautiful to look at & even better to eat. Then we shared the short rib risotto & Mafalde & ended with the ice cream with olive oil & salt. I would say the risotto was the least “prettiest” but still delicious. Their smoke & spice cocktail was also super good & can’t forget to mention our server Alex who was knowledgeable & delightful. Everything came out perfectly. The spritz of the day was the only disappointment but was rectified with a smoke & spice next. The food was not over salty, everything seemed extremely fresh. Will definitely be returning the next visit to Rochester.

    Excellent place to eat for a date night. Our server Adrian was attentive and provided great recommendations for our meal, although I don't think there would have been any wrong choices on the menu! Will absolutely be going back to check out their happy hour and for another dinner.

    This was our second time at Our Paladar. Very cute building with great porch. Love the food here-unique menu with a mix of pasta dishes and familiar foods with a unique twist. Try the Yuca Fries-so good!

    Service TopNotch, plating, menu choices, Mocktails, timing, Chef Nick & Kiefer ( Somalia) are personable! We adore the Depot setting; throws us back into a “CasaBlanca” feel! The fresh flowers are always a hit; a photogs dream! We’ll return, Mum’s Day, Easter, we’ve brought our house Guests for a dessert “Tres Leches” and a French Press! Ta Dah Gracias Sami & Dr.Mack
