Excellent breakfast & excellent service on Saturday 18th May. Love Otterburns. Overall very good but coffee is too expensive at £4 for a black Americano.

Surroundings were nice, on a warm day it was nice and cool inside, we were the only people in there so it was very quiet, Menu doesn’t have a large selection but prices were ok, however, our mains and starters were brought out together, which wasn’t great as too much food too soon, we left a lot of food, which we would have liked to take away with us, unfortunately we were told we couldn’t do this, so a lot was wasted. I understand this is newly opened and I’m sure things will be ironed out, I would return.

Booked a table for breakfast and it didn’t disappoint. We both went for the big breakfast which arrived promptly and was cooked perfectly. Staff were attentive. Overall, a great experience, would highly recommend and will be back.

Came yesterday 09/05 for the first time, the upstairs was busy because there was a mayors charity event on. We sat downstairs in the bar area as we just wanted some snack food and drinks. We waited about ten mins but no one came to serve us, but they were busy with the event upstairs. I went to the bar and ordered myself which is no big deal. We had olives and a cheese sharing board with drinks. I also ordered a garlic bread with cheese once my daughter arrived, these all came quickly. The olives and cheeseboard were lovely and great value for money. The garlic bread was very over priced. It was two pieces of toast with a bit of cheese melted on. At £5.50 I thought this was expensive. Overall however I enjoyed the evening and is a great addition to have on my doorstep. However I was gutted today 10/05 when my wife said the bar menu had changed, and there is no longer a cheese board or olives on the menu!

1st visit to the new eatery on Sandymoor. Enjoyed the otterburger all of the diners had this as the menu is limited for now & they were out of the steak baguette. Food was delicious well presented & filling Seemed very quiet & you felt you needed to talk in hushed voices Would definitely visit again hoping the menu expands soon & the evening menu is launched

Thought we would treat ourselves to breakfast and we were not disappointed. We both had the veggie breakfast with a pot of tea. The food was excellent and well worth it along with the service which was exceptional.

The eggs benedict was delicious. Highly recommend a visit. My sister in law had the veggie breakfast which she thoroughly enjoyed.
