Enjoyed an excellent dinner experience at Osteria Fasulo in Davis, CA. For apps we had the mussels and clams which were plump in a white wine sauce that was very good and Carpaccio Leonardo that was melt in your mouth delicious. We opted for the Pappardelle on Polipo that I would highly recommend as well as the Tortino di eggplant and risotto con calamari that our friend said was the best risotto he has had. Recommend the Vermentino with these selections. There is a very good and varied wine selection that is reasonably priced. Ciao!

We are lucky in Yolo County to have such a quality restaurant. Osteria Fasulo does not disappoint. The food quality is equal to some of the "best" Italian restaurants we have visited in other cities including San Francisco. The veal chop is simply amazing. It was a first for my guests and they loved it. And they have dined in some fine establishments. From appetizer, salads, breads, entrees and desserts, it was simply delicious. I just need another excuse to go back.

He best fine dining in Davis and West Sacramento. Traditional Italian with (always) a creative twist. Interesting but not exorbitant wine list. Thank you, Leonardo, for setting a high and enduring standard!

Excellent food and service. One observation - this reservations made the day before and when reserving a table, it said there were only 3 left, which led me to believe they would be full. There was also very a very specific amount of time that you would be allowed to have the table, based on party size. We had car problems and were going to be late. I was concerned they would mark us as a no show, charge us the stated $50 per person because of that, and that we would not be able to have dinner there since they were so full. I called them several times in the hour prior to our reservation time and the phone was busy every time. When we arrived we were relieved that they could seat us, but as the evening progressed, they were never more than half full. I was rather frustrated with this management practice.

Very nice. Good outdoor seating. Food was excellent. Somewhat limited options but everything was best in class. Of course, price is on par with quality.

Patricia is always very friendly, accommodating, and efficient. She is a big reason we enjoy Osterio. And the new spring menu is outstanding. The crispy mushroom salad is a new favorite.

Beautiful spot with outdoor seating. Food was delicious and felt like a very fine dining experience without being too crazy expensive. Servers are always very kind and knowledgeable.

Great EVERYTHING! The menu is broad plus specials. Wine list good (not phenomenal) but the prices are reasonable. Can’t wait to go back.

Our server was absolutely top notch! Attended to our every need quickly and effortlessly. We have been to Osteria several times and the food is always good. The only downside is the automatic 25% gratuity (for parties of 6 or more). Its quite steep but luckily for us, it was a special occasion we we’re celebrating and we felt the service and food warranted the generous tip.

Great spot not too far from Winters where we live! Awesome food, great service! Wish they had some good Napa Valley Cabernets at the $75-125 level too! Love Grgich! Maybe Caymus…Silver Oak…have to try some Italian wine (good wine list) next time!

The most sophisticated and perfect restaurant in the region. Everything, and I mean everything is done to please the palate, the eye, the nose. And it is simple. What exactly makes it perfect? I'm not sure, but it is. My cioppino was a delight and not overdone - the broth was heavenly. My friends' gnocchi with truffle sauce was also simple and perfect. Everything disappeared. Thank you Fasulos!

Date night dinner, first time we had been in several years. As soon as we walked in we were welcomed by incredible aromas in the small indoor dining room. While the dining room is small, and was full, it’s not loud and we could easily converse. We had creamy polenta, lobster bisque, a take on caprese with roasted tomatoes, pasta, and ciopino, topped off with chocolate gelato. The food and service were excellent and we plan on a much shorter interval for our next visit.

Everything perfect as expected except my ravioli was tough on the edges. But the divine sauce on it made up for it. I have eaten here many times and often have the ravioli so this edge toughness surprised me.

Overall our experience was good, but there is room for improvement. The seafood pasta had lobster so chewy it could not be cut with a knife. It was like chewing on bubble gum. I let the server know, then nothing happened. When he handed us the bill I asked how he was going to compensate us for the lobster and he stated he would ask the chef. The chef reduced the bill by $13. The tomato soup and chicken were really tasty. The dip for the bread, tasted like wheat grass, which was not great. Also, the bread comes out so late in the meal. Why wait until after the first serving to serve the bread?
