Cocktail Lounge atop the historic Beekman Tower offering 360 views of Manhattan and Brooklyn.

Ophelia offers a crafted a two-part cocktail menu featuring reinventions of classic and signature cocktails inspired by the natural elements and the glory of the lounge during its heyday in the 1920s and 30s.

Chef Ambrosio sources ingredients from local and international artisans, farmers, and fishmongers to create an elevated and refined culinary voyage. Small dishes include Maine Lobster Spring Rolls, Seared Hudson Valley Foie Gras with dried cherries, Classic Caviar Service, Prime Beef Tenderloin, and Truffle Fries.

This spot has a good bar and a great view but is not set up as a restaurant. There are few or no regular tables and the brunch consisted of "towers", tiered plates each containing small sandwiches, quiche slices and similar items priced at a steep $75 per person. Service was however excellent and the view fantastic. It would be a fabulous place to have a drink!

I loved it but the place is smaller than I envisioned. Loved the ambiance ans the mimosa is one of a kind ❤️

Beautiful view as long as you are seated looking towards the water. Not many regular table and chairs. More like a living room space. Food was good but pricey. Place was a little dated. Could use a refresher.

They offer us a table 12”x 24” for two persons. Very uncomfortable space. We made a reservation two weeks in advance. We requested another table a sit at the bar to wait. Half hour later they offer us to eat at a coffee table, very uncomfortable. The place has a beautiful view to the river but is really crowded. We ate at the bar. The food was good, nothing special. I don’t like it. Bad experience.

Food and drinks were ok, the place where we seat was not comfortable. We asked to change us to another table place and they didn’t even try to accommodate us

We had a great time! The city views are a perfect backdrop for evening cocktail and the staff was friendly and attentive. However, while the overall experience was fantastic, not all the seating options are comfortable for dining. It's a point worth considering if planning to enjoy one of the entrees. Nonetheless, Ophelia is a gem that offers stunning city views and a lively atmosphere.

Had a 5PM reservation and was seated directly under the air conditioner. We were outside and it was hot, so then we have the heat blowing on us. There were other open tables and not sure why hostess seated us there. THe waitress was slow. Then they ran out of the IPA , then ran out of the lager and then had to switch to the Amber beer. Wow. Ran out of 2 beers on a Wednesday before 6 PM?

The views were amazing. The food was just ok. We ordered a meat and cheese tray and fries. The fries were disappointing. They were out of the wine we preferred.

Beautiful decoration and amazing view. The drinks ( spicy margarita) wasnt spicy and not the best taste. Server had a hard time understanding taking the order but was very nice. The food isnt really worth the money. Dont go there to eat just for drinks :)

Great views, love the truffle fries! Great spot for after work drinks with a friend or a date. The waiting staff was friendly, only I felt they came all the time to ask if we wanted anything else when we still had food and drinks in front of us, which felt a bit pushy but not a big issue. Definitely will come again and recommend!

We had a reservation but we had to wait half an hour to be seated. Food was OK, but we didn’t really like the cocktails. I won’t come back.

The place is nice, but the food is terrible and the made us sit on metals stools for the fist part of our night. Drinks were not good either. Very pretty views though

The food was good and the drinks were good, the servers were friendly but extremely slow, we sat for 20 minutes before they took our order. Some of the seats are very uncomfortable. Overall good but a lot to improve.

It was not a good experience. We can't have the drinks we wanted at 2 times, the waitress wanted to make us buy the most expensive drinks instead. It was noisy and cold because of the outdoor open. After drinking 2 glass of wine we've been almost push out. No smile or attention, for the price or standing Ophelia wants, it's not enough. We'll not be back.

The most uncomfortable chairs I have ever sat on in a bar. The music was so loud could not even hear the person next to me.

Beautiful view. Good cocktails, food was good also. (Asked for medium, got well done) other than that. We got rushed out basically.

Loved Ophelia! Thank you! The kindest staff! We felt so welcome. Loved the cocktail that had the Shiso leaf -- think it was called the Far East?? Great view. Loved our time!!!

The location was beautiful, great view, nice decoration, the food was ok, the service was awful. The girls at the entrance were friendly, but the servers had no smile on their face, they did their job because of the salary, you could clearly see that they had no intention to be friendly to the customers.

The views are what I would come back for. The service was good but they definitely rush you out. When I booked our dinner, it was stated we would have the table for 2 hours. At 1 1/2 hours they were bringing us the check and lurking to get us moving. I spent a lot of money there and didn’t appreciate being rushed out before the 2 hours. That being said, I loved the ambiance and the view!!! The food was good. I would be back for those things

Went to see the Jazz Band perform. Much more calm atmosphere with music playing at a level that still allowed for good conversation. Had the lamb with the truffle ravioli. Absolutely delicious! And so were their cocktails!

We wanted to eat somewhere with an excellent view. My 13 year old daughter and I were pleased to have an excellent unobstructed view of the river and city lights. The other side has a view of Manhattan. The history of the building added to the atmosphere. The art deco architecture was very impressive. The food was delicious and fairly priced.

This is a beautiful old bar with the most incredible views. We loved it. Little expensive, but worth it expense for the atmosphere.
