I have been to OpenAire at least 9 times and this, by far, was my worst experience. Our food was salty and we nearly starved to death waiting on our waitress. It saddens me to say these things because I have always loved this restaurant but after this experience I will not be going back

I had been wanting to dine here and I finally did. I brought my friend to celebrate her Birthday. Nice ambiance. The music was a little too loud. Great food but my friend didn’t get her birthday candle when we ordered our dessert. I just used the table candle to add to the chocolate cake that we ordered. Next time I’ll try the brunch.

Había pedido algunas cosas extras porque era mi aniversario y no hicieron nada. Solo cenamos y ya.. las demás cosas que pedí jamás llegaron. Muy mala experiencia en servicio, nunca recomendaría este restaurante…

While the venue was absolutely gorgeous, the food was average. The staff is wonderful and very attentive, but if the food is what you’re after, I’d choose someplace else.

The ambience was amazing! Our server was super attentive and took great care of us. The food was fantastic and worth every penny. Loved it here and look forward to coming back!

This is an absolutely stunning restaurant however we went for Sunday Brunch and it was a bit of a let down. I ordered the soft omelette and it was lacking in flavor- would not suggest. However others at the table got the eggs Benedict and avocado toast, these were both good! The portion size is good as well. Service: food and drinks took so long to come out. Noise: I was shocked how loud and rowdy some of the groups were, there was literally people screaming. NOT, talking loudly but actually screaming, this went on for awhile and it was like 2 separate groups were in competition on who could have the loudest longest celebratory screams. For us, that energy did not match the greenhouse vibes. Overall, I suggest this restaurant for the vibes only and as a one time thing. Kind of like a been there tried that kind of restaurant.

The food was amazing. The Japanese sweet potato was awesome and the chick was tasty too. However the problem was it to at least 20 minutes to get the bill. They could not get their registers to work for some reason and we ended up standing at the counter at length waiting for them to be able generate a check. They were very trite about this and acted somehow like this was our issue. Be careful if you are doing a pre-Wiltern Dinner as it is hard to eat and check out - given the 5:30 pm opening hour - and get to the theatre in time.

Openaire has a great menu and a cool vibe. I had the steak and eggs and it was really great. Very unique with the kimchi fried rice on the side. Also had the ahi tuna tartare appetizer and that was so delicious.

Manny, our server was really courteous and accommodating. Wish we were seated inside, thought we made the reservation for inside, but, we were still happy seated outside. The only we were disappointed was how limited the bar is. Other than that, we were very pleased. Especially when Lucas came over the introduce himself.

This was a place I had on my list so I am happy I finally got to have a chance to dine here. Me and a friend came there for brunch and it did not disappoint! The ambiance and aesthetics were spot on. Loved the greenhouse feel. Cocktails were amazing and every dish they brought out was tasty! I would suggest putting more icing on the cinnamon rolls and having a cool DJ there on some occasions would be nice. But DEFINITELY more icing on the cinnamon roll! Other than that I would highly recommend this location!

Made a reservation for 10:30 today Easter Sunday for brunch. Was staying upstairs in their hotel. Called to ask to come in 15-20 minutes later and the hostess said it was not possible because they were so booked up and we could only come in after 1:00pm. So we rushed and made it downstairs at about 10:35. For some reason they made us sit outside in the sun instead of the dining room. No shade so we got sunburnt on our foreheads and were sweating the entire meal. The music is so loud outside you can hear it from our room on the 5th floor. We left at about 11:40 and were not only surrounded by empty tables but watched as the inside restaurant was half empty still. Ridiculous that they couldn’t accommodate our very minor request as hotel guests but let us watch from the outside overflow seating how empty the inside was. Spent over $200 for 3 people. On our way out we overheard the hostesses ask the incoming guests if they had a reservation or if they were just walking in so we didn’t even have to make a reservation to sit down. Food was pretty good which is unfortunate because our dining experience was ruined by the hostess.

Food and table service was great. Front of house was a little rude. She made us wait even though we had a reservation and the restaurant wasn’t that full. She was also over the top behaving with a random group. It was weird. Other than that, food and wait staff were excellent.

Was able to make a reservation the same day on a Sunday. The service was great our waiter was very nice and helpful. My boyfriend and I ordered the ham eggs Benedict and huebos ranchero. The Benedict was undercooked, the poached egg had a clear film that ran out immediately when cutting through. The ranchero had too much sauce and cheese stuck to the tortilla. Ambiance was very nice but we didn’t get to sit inside and enjoy the greenhouse which was a big selling point and attracted us to the place to begin with. We did ask if we could be seated inside but the host informed us there were no two seaters indoors. Drinks were really good but the prices are incredibly high for the quality of the food.

I am not sure if they were having an off night or if the servers were new. But we got sat right on time and then forgotten. Helped by someone who said they weren’t our server and then they didn’t course anything. Everything, literally everything came out at once. Drinks, and four plates. The starters got soggy and the main got cold as we tried to rush to eat to prevent this. I know coursing is important and this just drives home the point. The table is small too. They also got our gin drink wrong and sent mezcal. The manager was great in fixing the drink right away. Nothing compensated for- but the food is incredibly good, as is the ambiance.

Food and aesthetics was wonderful, but you could tell the server lacked service skills. Our experience took 3 1/2 hours only because the service was so slow. She would get one thing at a time going back-and-forth and then would not come back for 20 minutes. She was sweet, but just lacked basic service skills. It was unfortunate for the restaurant as we probably would have ordered one or two more rounds of cocktails. aesthetics

Food, vibe, ambiance was great! We would’ve like to be attended a little more frequently by the waitress. We needed extra plates and utensils and had to flag down somebody else because she was nowhere to be found. The huevos rancheros was my favorite dish and the corn flake crusted French toast was to die!

I’ve been here before and I loved my experience. My friends and I came at around 1:00pm for brunch. Our server was attentive and to be fair he did have to check back twice for us to be ready with our order. After we ordered it felt like we were forgotten. Our drinks didn’t come out for a while, and then we had to wait quite a bit for our food. All in all the food was great.

Because we went for brunch, it is hard to make opinions about the food selection as it was standard to me. The food was good. One of my girlfriends was disappointed in the portion size of the French Toast (1 piece) compared to the other brunch selections. Would love to come back for lunch or dinner. The ambience was very inviting and the staff was professional and courteous!
